Blake Lively And Ryan Reynolds Welcomed Their Fourth Child
Up until recently, professional pretty people Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds had three daughters together: Betty, 3, Inez, 6, and James, 8. In my opinion, three is enough. You have a backup in case the first one’s a little shit, and a backup for the backup. But I guess Blake and Ryan are really into populating the world with mini versions of themselves, cuz People reports Blake has given birth to their fourth child. I didn’t know she was pregnant (coming to TLC this spring).
To be clear, this wasn’t a secret pregnancy. Blake revealed her pregnancy back in September, “debuting her baby bump” on the red carpet for the 10th Annual Forbes Power Women’s Summit. A couple of days after that, Blake posted these pics to Instagram, and slammed the “11 guys” (hopefully paparazzi) waiting outside her house for a knocked-up-Blake sighting:
Yesterday, Blake took to Instagram again, posting a full-body pic with Ryan and his mom. Please note, her baby bump is now missing:
Blake didn’t confirm she’d given birth, but people put two and two together and deduced her baby had arrived. Or maybe Blake’s wearing super snug Spanx to throw us all off, and her unborn child is being squeezed as tight as Temple Grandin in that cow-hugging machine. Hey, it’s good for anxiety!
So far, we don’t have any more details about Blake and Ryan’s latest child, and I have zero baby name predictions, cuz their other kids’ names are all over the place: “James” for a girl is so ~*cool*~, “Inez” is from Alec and Hilaria Baldwin’s Big Book of Baldwinito Baby Names For Non-Hispanic Newborns, and “Betty” is randomly twee. THEY DON’T MATCH. Say what you will about Kris Jenner, but at least she had a plan.
