Sting Talks About His Tantric Sex Life With His Wife Trudie Styler
Another year, another opportunity for us to hear about Sting’s steamy sex life. It’s been three decades since it was first revealed that Sting and his wife Trudie Styler like to engage in intercourse sessions as long as a double feature of The Godfather and The Godfather II. You’d think that now that they’re in their early 70s/late 60s they’d settle for a 90-minute quickie, but I guess when you’re a semi-retired millionaire, what else are you gonna do? Not only is he not tired of banging, he’s also not sick of being asked about it for the millionth time.
Sting sat down with the Sydney Morning Herald to discuss the Australian leg of his tour for his My Songs album. The interviewer raced through the boring questions to get to the topic that everyone wants to know: Does Sting still boink for seven hours straight? Via The New York Post:
Sting is still fond of sharing the hours-long tantric sex sessions he enjoys with his wife — three decades after making the risqué revelation.
“I don’t mind that at all — it’s very healthy,” the former frontman of The Police and grandfather of seven told The Sydney Morning Herald in an interview published Wednesday. “We didn’t discuss sex ever with my parents.”
“I’m fortunate in many, many respects, and having my health at this age is something I don’t take for granted,” he continued. “I’ve lost a lot of friends that didn’t make it this far, so I appreciate every day as it comes.”
That’s not the only thing he appreciates coming! To be fair to Sting, it seems he’s got a somewhat healthy view of his love life. His claims are exaggerated, though. He revealed back in 2014 that his famed seven-hour tantric sex sessions include “a movie and dinner” in the mix. So, if you’ve ever had a two-hour long dinner, watched a three-hour movie, went back to your place for two more hours of talking and fumbling around, then got a 4-minute pump, you TOO have participated in one of Sting’s marathon sex sessions! The singer went on to explain that tantra means “really engaging in intimacy” before sexing it up. Essentially, Sting just goes on a very nice date night with his wife every so often.
After his tour, he’s headed to Las Vegas, where he’ll have his own residency, much like other famous crooners such as Elvis. I hope Sting will one day get his own insane Elvis biopic. I can’t wait to spend half the run time of the film watching Sting and Trudie go to a movie and then do the dirty but with extra eye contact!
