Open Post: Hosted By Gwyneth Paltrow Letting Us Know That She Still Has A Dress She Wore On A Date With Brad Pitt Almost Thirty Years Ago

We all know Gwyneth Paltrow is the self-professed Queen of organic wares that could potentially burn your house down, but did you also know she has a soft spot for nostalgia as well? For example, there are some people who remember a time when she and Brad Pitt looked like they were about to be each other’s forever loves. Unfortunately, they couldn’t stay together and moved on to other relationships that failed as miserably as theirs did. However, in the spirit of holding onto beautiful memories (and mothball-protected garments), Gwyneth revealed she still owns a dress she wore to a movie premiere with Brad. And she took her thirsty GOOP coven on a trip through her closet to proudly show off all of her 90s fashion keepsakes.

People reports Gwyneth kicked down the door to one of her vintage vaults (which she refers to as a “storage facility” because GOOP) to show the poors her couture collection of years passed. She proudly showcased the thin swaths of fabric she calls clothing to all of her YouTube followers with a smirk that translates to “You hoes WISH you has such fine things!” Actually, we don’t because only you and Olive Oyl can fit them. Still, it was nice taking a peek inside Gwyneth’s clearance rack. But the one item that seemed the dearest to her was a Calvin Klein frock she wore with Brad to a movie premiere in 1996.

[Gwyneth] revealed that she still has one clothing item worn from her ’90s romance with Pitt — a white floral-embroidered Calvin Klein dress.

“I think I wore [it] to a premiere when I was going out with Brad Pitt,” she said, referring to their date night at the 1996 premiere of The Pallbearer in New York City. “It’s giving that very ’90s ‘I don’t give a f—k [attitude].”

The couple even matched in tiny-framed sunglasses and similar golden blonde highlights. For his part, Pitt wore a pastel striped sweater vest layered over a white tee shirt and mid-rise pants.

And I think the reason she still holds onto that dress is that at least once a week, she puts it on, grabs a promo photo of Brad from SE7EN, and sings Back Down Memory Lane by Minnie Ripperton. That’s the only explanation I have for her not getting rid of all that old shit stinking up her closets.
