Harvard Is Reportedly Inviting Soho Scammer, Anna Delvey, To Speak To MBA Students

Not content by simply poisoning the minds of the youth rich enough to go to Harvard by just hosting Kim Kardashian last month to speak to students, it seems the university is taking things up a notch. They’re following up a Kardashian with someone who somehow is simultaneously both more and less qualified to actually educate the students. One Anna Delvey–AKA Anna Sorokin, the scammer who went to jail for swindling New Yorkers by pretending to be a rich German heiress. On the one hand, scamming is absolutely an art, so Anna has lots to teach. However, she did get caught. How about a lesson from a scammer who didn’t?

Anna was convicted of grand larceny in 2019 after she faked her way through New York as a German heiress and swindled money from people, and also tried to secure a $22 million bank loan for an “arts club.” She was sentenced to 4 to 12 years but was released in February 2021 after only 17 months for good behavior; however, ICE then picked her up for overstaying her Visa, and she was released to house arrest in October while she continues to deal with deportation.

In case she gets deported, Anna is probably trying to squeeze in all the scams fun she possibly can. She just hosted a dinner party with NDAs and SSNs while still under house arrest. Next up is another Zoom lesson–Anna actually previously spoke to Columbia while in ICE detention last year. Page Six says that Harvard Business School has had Short Intensive Programs before, which students don’t actually get credit for, but they’ve featured celebrity speakers like Kim, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Julianne Hough. It’s not clear if Anna will be speaking as a part of the same thing, but sources confirm to Page Six that plans to have Anna speak are underway:

Page Six has exclusively learned that plans are coming together for Delvey, who is currently under house arrest, to speak to an MBA class at America’s most prestigious university.

It won’t be the first time Delvey, who partied her way through NYC’s elite social circles and bilked luxury hotels out of thousands, has had a chance to shape young, Ivy League minds.

Last September she spoke virtually from an ICE detention facility with students in Columbia University’s “Intro to Reporting” class.

When asked what question she wishes reporters would stop asking her, she reportedly said, “If I’m sorry.”

A source tells us Delvey has also spoken to some NYU students for their thesis, and that Oxford University in England has also reached out.

Once Teen Mom Farrah Abraham hears about Anna speaking at Harvard, she’s going to plan to sue them even harder for kicking her out of their prestigious school. I mean, she wasn’t going to learn anything of value in that English class she was taking, but Farrah could absolutely get into the scamming game after a lesson from Anna; I feel like she has the gumption for it!
