Pamela Anderson Says Her Last Marriage Was Her Worst One, But She Still Wants To Get Married Again Someday

Pamela Anderson’s Netflix documentary and memoir both dropped yesterday, and her press tour continues to march (or, run boobily) on. People reports that, in interviews with Vanity Fair and The Sunday Times, 55-year-old Pam reflected on her 2020 marriage to “bodyguard”-builder Dan Hayhurst, which lasted less than a year. Pam says her fourth marriage (her 2020 annulment to Jon Peters doesn’t count, K?) was a “disaster” and “worse than any of them.” But, despite her bad track record, Pam told Jimmy Kimmel that she hopes to get married again someday. OK, is marriage addiction a thing? If it is, Pammy needs to get thee to a nunnery (or rehab)!

Pam tells Vanity Fair that, when she was renovating her farmhouse on Vancouver Island during the pandemic, she began to “romanticize everything.” She says, “everyone was looking good – all the contractors that were here.” One of those contractors was Dan Hayhurst, who was allegedly still in a relationship with his girlfriend of five years, Carey. After Dan and Pam got hitched on Christmas Eve 2020, Carey told the tabloids that she and Dan had been raising three children together when he cheated (Dan’s two young children from a previous relationship and Carey’s older daughter). She called Dan and Pam’s marriage “a walking mess,” accused them both of heavy drinking, and rolled her eyes over Pam’s claims that Dan was her “bodyguard.”

Despite Pam and Dan doing a remote interview with Loose Women from their bed and claiming they hadn’t left the boudoir since their wedding two months before, the marriage was indeed a mess. Just like Carey foretold! Pamela tells Vanity Fair, “it ended up being a disaster.” She also told The Sunday Times that hooking up with Dan “was stupid, and I do regret that”, via People:

She said of the marriage, “It was worse than any of them. And I realized, ‘Oh my God, I’m caught up in this whole thing, what am I doing?’ It just truck me, this is another disaster. … I was paying for everything, cooking, cleaning for everybody. And so I just got out of it as soon as I could.”

When they split in January 2022, Pamela says she began to reflect on her life and started compiling her memoir and working on her Netflix doc. That was about a year ago, and so far, no new husbands (progress!). Has she… grown? Maybe. Or maybe not. On last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jimmy asked Pamela whether she’d walk down the aisle again. Pam replied, “God, what a crazy question. I don’t know. I hope so,” adding that she still had “a lot of life left.” Here’s the clip. The marriage stuff is around the 15:00 mark:

Pamela’s marriage to her younger handyman is giving me Elizabeth Taylor/Larry Fortensky vibes. Maybe Pam should follow Liz’s lead and finally hang up the wedding veil after this last disaster. She needs to remember that no more marriages doesn’t necessarily mean no more romance! See: Liz and Colin Farrell.
