Rhiannon Ally and DeMarco Morgan May Replace Amy Robach And T.J. Holmes On “GMA3” And It’s Causing Drama

Their seats aren’t even cold yet, and already apparently, the race is on to replace former GMA3 anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, who were ousted from the network after their affair went public in a big way. Mediation talks between the couple and the network reportedly ended with T.J. and Amy getting their contracts paid out and shown the exit door. There was a rumor that ABC News wasn’t looking to replace T.J. and Amy right away, but now Page Six says that the drama is already cooking inside the company as people are clamoring for the gig. Apparently, pulling ahead of the pack are Rhiannon Ally and DeMarco Morgan. I’m sure whoever gets it will have to sign a newly-edited contract that includes a clause: “Will not fuck co-workers without talking to HR first.”

The drama going on surrounds the current lead replacements for the couple, Rhiannon and DeMarco. The duo has filled in for T.J. and Amy since ABC News opened their investigation, and a source says that “they seem like the automatic go-to.” But that has other people at the network pissed:

“People are already moving onto the next battle, which is who is going to replace them,” explains our source.

DeMarco Morgan and Rhiannon Ally have been filling in during the scandalous stars’ suspension, and our source says, “they seem like the automatic go-to.”

But we hear other ABC talent aren’t thrilled about that possibility. “People are upset that others haven’t had as much of a chance,” says an insider.

Other news types like Gio Benitez, Stephanie Ramos, Whit Johnson, and Janai Norman have also filled in for Amy and T.J. during their leave, so at least one of them is probably like: “Bitch, please!” to Rhiannon and DeMarco. Both are also pretty new, as DeMarco just got to ABC in November after leaving CBS, and Rhiannon only started with ABC News in December 2021. But still, the network loves them, or at least, they love DeMarco:

Sources told us that the network “loves the job [Morgan is] doing,” and that, “everyone thinks he’s been really great.” There has been buzz he could replace Holmes permanently.

Welp looks like the younger models of T.J. and Amy have arrived. I mean, it’s like ABC dunked them in a time machine, shaved T.J.’s head, and dyed Amy’s mop into a golden brunette. Does ABC News just clone people? I wouldn’t put it past Mickey…
