Ben Affleck Was Papped Being Friendly With His Ex-Wife Jennifer Garner’s Boyfriend As A TikTok Of Him And Jennifer Lopez Possibly In The Midst Of A Spat Went Viral
Not too long ago, things were looking bleak in the way of a cordial relationship between exes Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner when Ben blamed his drinking on her while she was allegedly happy to finally be rid of her “fourth child.” However, things are seemingly going well on that front as evidenced by paps recently catching Ben joyfully greeting JG and her boyfriend, John Miller, outside their house. And if you haven’t heard (through newsletter, song, or hostage situation TikToks), Ben’s now super-married to Jennifer Lopez! But a TikTok that’s going viral maybe shows a ripple in the rosy marital façade they’ve been cultivating because it appears as though the two were having a tense exchange over alcohol at the afterparty for J.Lo’s newest bad movie, Shotgun Wedding.
Page Six says paps caught up with Ben on Monday as he waited outside JG’s California house for her and John to get home before they all went inside. And what could’ve been an awkward situation looked to be downright warm and pleasant. Here’s the meetup. Ben’s eyes are giving “please adopt me:”
And maybe Dear Ben was just elated to be in the company of anyone besides his current wife; because it looks like his and J.Lo’s marriage may be faring about as well as Gigli did. According to a TikTok that’s been viewed 1.5 million times and counting, users read Bennifer’s lips in the video, and most people think the scenario is Ben denying drinking wine (he’s a recovering alcoholic) with Jen then testing the drink as she maintained disapproving eye contact. via Newsweek:
In the clip, which was posted to the video-sharing platform on Sunday, Lopez, 53, is accompanied by Affleck, 50, at an afterparty for the Hollywood premiere of her new movie Shotgun Wedding on January 18.
As Lopez’s hit track “Let’s Get Loud” rings out in the background, Lopez is seen holding a wine glass as Affleck yells over the music: “I didn’t drink anything, OK?”
Lopez is then seen lifting the glass and maintaining eye contact with Affleck as she cautiously tastes the drink before placing it down, as her husband shouts: “Jen!”
But others who’ve seen it think that Jen’s just being insensitive by tauntingly drinking in the face of someone in recovery and Ben was upset by that.
A number of TikTok users slammed Lopez, suggesting that she was being unsupportive to Affleck by drinking alcohol.

J.Lo’s said she had PTSD planning her and Ben’s most recent wedding (our hearts bleed for her), and Ben probably has PTSD from participating in their most recent wedding, so even Steven, I guess. I’d be willing to bet Let’s Get Loud is the soundtrack to his nightmares–can you imagine having to defend yourself to your significant other over their shitty song blaring over you? The loser in all of this, though, is the poor bartender who served that contentious drink and was undoubtedly not properly tipped.
