Alec Baldwin Got Mad Over The Criticism Of An Instagram Caption He Wrote About His Wife And 6-Year-Old Son
Apparently, Alec Baldwin’s home is run with the same chaotic energy that reportedly led to the dangerous working conditions on the set of Rust which enabled Alec to hold a loaded gun that led to the death of someone. Under normal circumstances, a high-profile individual facing a federal manslaughter rap will be urged by council and common decency to shut the hell up and let their legal team do the talking. However, the denizens of Casa De Baldwinitos are apparently immune to both. So you’ve got Hilaria Baldwin running around the streets of New York City looking for anyone with a camera at which to scream, “dios mio, leave mi familia alone!” while wearing a sweatshirt from her new collaboration with Kanye West called Last Word(s).
And now you’ve got Alec taking time out of his busy day of searching his name on Reddit to post a photo of one of his children on Instagram with a caption that goes a long way to explain what happened to Halyna Hutchins. The saying “think before you shoot” is literally gun safety and film-making 101, but it’s also great advice to follow in a figurative sense as it pertains to posting pictures of your children on social media. Page Six reports that Alec popped off in the comments on a post he shared of little 6-year-old [insert random Spanish boy’s name] working “The old ‘let me give you a back rub’ ploy” on his mom that some folks thought was a bit gross. Alec’s eyes are so swollen and tired-looking he must not have seen Hilaria’s newest LW(s) sweatshirt that reads “Boundaries are Hot.” Page Six reports:
Alec Baldwin is not too pleased that many felt his Instagram caption beneath a photo of his wife and young son was “sexually suggestive.”
“The US is a country fueled by hate,” the embattled actor, 64, lashed out in the post’s comments section in response to one of his defenders.
His controversial caption — which was accompanied by an image of Hilaria Baldwin, 39, getting a back rub from 6-year-old Leonardo — initially read, “The old ‘let me give you a back rub’ ploy,” which sparked a wave of criticism.
“That’s a pretty fucking weird comment to make on a photo of your son and his mother 😂,” one critic remarked, while another called the word choice “disgusting.”
“SexuaIizing children is always so weird but your own child? Yikes,” a third dissenter added.
Alec, never one to back down from a fight he started for no reason other than his ego being roughly the same size as his family, took issue with the complaints and blamed the proliferation of “that Reddit trash out there,” for twisting his meaning. But, in a shocking turn of events, Alec capitulated to the crowd and updated his caption to include “Potato chips to follow,” in case the Pepinos (a sub-Reddit devoted to all things Hilaria) somehow thought he was actually suggesting [Spanish boy’s name] was attempting to seduce his mom. Here’s Alec’s post with the all-important context added that 6-year-old [Spanish boy’s name] likes potato chips and is far too young to have read Oedipus Rex yet.
Sheesh, Alec. Boundaries much? I hope he got Hilaria’s consent to use her image, and their kids, to deflect the tsunami of bad press and accusations of manslaughter that have been dogging him since that fateful day in New Mexico when Alec failed to “consider the source” of the bullets being used on his set. Meanwhile, Hilaria continues to employ a slightly more analog way to get her point across. And by “across,” I mean she’s walking around #inthesestreets humping a giant wooden cross like Jesús’ madre but make it fashion.

Man, somebody sure looks like they could use a good old-fashioned, no strings attached shoulder rub.
