Today In Messy Baldwins: Ireland Disses The “Idiots” In Her Family While Sharing Her Pregnancy Struggles And Hilaria Steps Out In An “Empathy” Sweatshirt After Alec’s Manslaughter Charges

Being a Baldwin must be tough this week. Whether you’re being charged with involuntary manslaughter, being called an idiot, or are probably squarely in the center position of the Venn diagram of those two plights; the week that started with Blue Monday has looked pretty dismal for the Baldwin Brood. As we know–both because she announced it and because madrastra Hilaria Baldwin usurped the news via a disingenuous Instagram congratulations videoIreland Baldwin and her boyfriend, André Allen Anjos/RAC are with rude little piglet. Ireland just posted on Instagram to vent about how difficult her pregnancy has been and also dropped a nugget that left people guessing (but not really) when she casually mentioned that some members of her family are “idiots she wants nothing to do with.” And ever the shrinking violet, Hillary stepped out on the pap stroll to send a message amid her meal ticket/sperm-factory husband Alec Baldwin’s legal woes with her “Empathy” sweatshirt paired with bedazzled slippers.

Ireland took to Instagram to share that her pregnancy hasn’t been the blissful, glowy utopian experience people (who’ve never been pregnant or are very far removed from their pregnancies) make it out to be. She says she’s really struggling, and reading about others’ difficulties has been really helpful for her, so she wanted to share hers as well. Via HuffPost:

On Wednesday, the daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger shared a lengthy note online about her experience. “Pregnancy is hard,” she wrote on Instagram. “It takes so much out of you. I wasn’t ready for that.”

She added: “I’m exhausted. I’m unmotivated. I feel like life is passing by.”

In her new note, Baldwin said that she has “always wanted a baby with the right person.”

“I grew up with a very jaded perception of what love really looked like,” she wrote. “I always wanted to have a child of my own with someone who would treat us right and love us unconditionally.”

Oof. Just mention that voicemail already. Ireland then went on to talk about how lonely she feels in all of this, RAC excluded. Then she called out her familial “idiots,” and it was both ambiguous and not really at the same time since Ireland has hinted before that she doesn’t really care about what her dad and his wife do.

“It’s hard not being really close to family to begin with because they live far or are idiots that I want nothing to do with,” Baldwin wrote. “It’s hard seeing other people go through this and have their parents close by.”

Life is short, Ireland. It’s time to name and shame! Here’s her full post:

And after the Santa Fe DA’s announcement that they had sufficient reason to charge Alec (and others who worked on the set) with manslaughter, Hilaria’s seemingly asking everyone to feel sorry for her familia during this very difficult time for them. Page Six says Hilaria, turning the attention to herself as usual, took a leisurely lap to get coffee in her cringeworthy and repeatedly worn EMPATHY sweatshirt that undoubtedly reeks of sour breastmilk, COOcumbers, and desperation.

One day after news broke that Alec Baldwin will be charged with involuntary manslaughter over the fatal shooting of “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, the actor’s wife, Hilaria Baldwin, stepped out in a telling choice of top.

The 39-year-old yoga instructor and podcaster went to grab coffee wearing a green sweatshirt emblazoned with the word “EMPATHY” in all caps, which she paired with faux leather leggings, pearl-embellished slides and oversized sunglasses.

But has anyone mentioned to Hillary that if you constantly have to ask for empathy, maybe you’re the problem? Here she is making her call for empatía in bedazzled zapatillas that only an unhinged Kanye West could love:

Next up, Hilaria will be enrolling in several not-for-credit classes offered through Yale on Coursera and house-hunting in Oregon to be closer to Ireland and her new grand-bebé. Mami es no idiota!
