Kim Kardashian Bought A $197,453 Cross Necklace Famously Worn By Princess Diana
Though Kim Kardashian recently said she’d eventually like to get married a fourth time, what she failed to mention is that she’s already in a hot and heavy committed relationship with leaving her stain of desperation and full-body makeup on the iconic fashions of beloved dead women. This time, Kim got her klaws on the Attallah Cross, a necklace Princess Diana famously wore to a charity gala in the 80s.
TMZ says Kim hit up Sotheby’s for her newest piece of constant and insufferable conversation fodder: a diamond-crusted amethyst cross that was said to cause society ladies to clutch their basic-bitch pearls when Diana sported it because of its boldness.
Auction sources tell TMZ…the SKIMS honcho just snatched up the rare diamond-encrusted necklace Wednesday at a Sotheby’s auction.
The stunning necklace is known as the Attalah Cross…which she famously wore in 1987 at a London charity gala paired with a purple-tinged outfit, with the necklace hanging low down her torso.
It was also an elaborate fashion choice, and considered bold at the time.

Sotheby’s said the storied necklace was one of Diana’s most-loved pieces and had never been worn by anyone else.
Said to be one of Princess Diana’s favorite pieces, the Attallah cross is a pendant created in the 1920s by court jewellers Garrard.
The cross was bought by Naim Attallah CBE from Garrard in the 1980s, and through his friendship with Princess Diana he loaned it to her several times over a number of years. It is understood that the cross was only ever worn by the Princess, and following her death, it was never seen in public again until now.
And as Kim’s enormous “burgled in Paris” $4 million diamond ring could attest, “bold” stunt pieces to keep your name in the media don’t come cheap, either. Kim ponied up $197,453 (a whole month of Kanye West child support!) to be the winning bid.
Well, that’s one way to attempt to take the attention away from your ex’s recent “marriage” to a woman you hate! Kim doesn’t have a single person on her beige payroll that could’ve completed this purchase without having her name attached to it. Jokes on her when Prince Harry shows up at her doorstep with a Netflix crew to reclaim “Mummy’s” necklace!
