Brad Pitt Sells Off Majority Stake Of His Production Company As Rumors Suggest He’s “Considering Leaving Hollywood”

It seems that Brad Pitt really enjoyed that shirtless Cabo beach romp with his new girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, and may be doing that full-time and taking a break from acting. 59-year-old Brad recently sold his stake in his production company, Plan B, and sources say he’s ready to take a step away from Hollywood. Well, his last movie, Babylon, flopped hard as fuck, and his movie before that, Bullet Train, was panned by critics–so when you’re cranking out stinkers like those, maybe it is a good time to step back and reevaluate some things.

Brad actually founded Plan B with his ex, Jennifer Aniston, and according to Page Six, he recently sold 60% of the company to a French media conglomerate. I guess Brad never found the “joy” in his art like he was trying to. A source says:

“Brad has decided that he wants to live a peaceful life going forward and is deciding what “semi-retirement” looks like for him.”

The source added, “One thing he’s decided is that he will likely continue acting,” but that he is staying away from other business ventures.

A different source–who predicted Brad selling Plan B–told Page Six that Brad “is considering leaving Hollywood and moving to France and doing his vineyard and art and making furniture… He just wants to live in peace.” But yet another insider suggests that Brad is not going to be fading into obscurity anytime soon:

“While Brad has put a lot of time into the various [businesses based out of the French estate, Chateau Miraval, he bought with Angelina Jolie], and his other interests like architecture, he is absolutely committed to his film career,” said the insider… the Pitt source also insisted, “He is not leaving Hollywood.”

That last source sounds like his publicist. Brad does have some more movies coming out before he maybe retires; next, he’s starring in a Formula 1 racing film that is being produced by the racing champion, Lewis Hamilton.

Wow, Brad must have heard Sade singing at his Chateau Miraval recording studio and had a tectonic shift in his perspective. I understand; hearing her relaxing and ethereal vocals live could make any person want to immediately quit their job and run to the nearest topless beach to chill out–it’s called the Sade Effect.
