Jeremy Renner Is In The ICU And Recovering From Two Surgeries After He Was Injured In A Snow Plowing Accident
51-year-old Jeremy Renner was in a bad snowplowing accident and is in stable condition but required multiple surgeries for his “extensive” injuries. Welp, I guess the strongest Avenger really is Hawkeye because I’m not sure many would survive getting hit ran over by a goddamned snowplow.
The Jeremy Renner app would have been lit the fuck up yesterday if it still existed, as TMZ says that he was admitted to a hospital in Nevada after a snowplow ran over one of his legs outside of his Lake Tahoe home.
According to a neighbor, the plowing machine — called a Snowcat — accidentally ran over one of Jeremy’s legs, and he was losing a lot of blood from the injury. We’re told another neighbor, who’s a doctor, was able to put a tourniquet on his leg until paramedics arrived.
We’re told the area was treated like an active crime scene … with police arriving at 8 PM to impound the Snowcat, which Jeremy’s previously posted video of himself using on his property after snowstorms. The issue, we’re told, is the machine has extensive safety features, and should not have rolled over Jeremy.
The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office’s “major accident investigation team” will look into the incident. Jeremy was airlifted to the hospital, where he underwent two surgeries. Jeremy’s rep said that he suffered “blunt chest trauma” and is in “critical but stable condition.”
Jeremy Renner’s rep tells TMZ … the actor suffered blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries and underwent surgery Monday, and remains in the intensive care unit in critical but stable condition.
We’re told Jeremy’s family wants to express their gratitude to a host of folks … including the doctors and nurses looking after him, plus Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve and the Carano and Murdock families.
Jeremy’s rep adds … his family is “tremendously overwhelmed and appreciative of the outpouring of love and support from his fans.”
Jeremy has a 9-year-old daughter, Ava, with ex-wife, Sonni Pacheco, who accused him last year of abuse.
In the past, Jeremy has posted videos of his snow-plowing adventures, and before his accident, he posted about the blizzard that hit Lake Tahoe.

Marvel co-star, Mark Ruffalo, posted a supportive message to his Instagram Stories:
That whole accident sounds insanely scary, but luckily for Jeremy, his doctor neighbor was there and knew exactly what to do. Why do I feel that Marvel is about to hit that doctor neighbor with an offer to join the Avengers?
