Master P And His Son Romeo Miller Had A War Of Words On Social Media

Long gone are the days when Master P could throw a bandana and braids onto his son Romeo Miller‘s head and parade him in front of crowds for huge checks. Romeo is now in his thirties and no longer wishes to be a pint-size rapping protege for his Pops. In fact, things between father and son have been strained worse than Master P’s voice after years of grunting “Uggghhhh,” and it all stems from the suicide of Romeo’s sister Tytyana Miller earlier this year. Now, following the tragic death of Stephen “tWitch” Boss, Romeo is calling out his father for offering support to tWitch’s family when he wasn’t as supportive of Tatyana’s mental health challenges. And a war of words ensued that would have probably worked better inside of a therapist’s office instead.

Complex reports Romeo is grabbing all the tea he can and pouring gallons of piping hot family secrets into the cup of public scrutiny. He first started over the weekend by becoming the Maya Angelou of his family with a poem he wrote titled ‘The Tree Of Trauma’.

On Friday, Romeo called out his father, blaming the death of his sister, Tytyana Miller, on his father ignoring her struggles with mental health. He also shared a poem titled “The Tree of Trauma” on Instagram.

“Today was a boiling point,” Romeo wrote at the time. “I seen a man avoid his own children struggle with suicide and depression but post another man whom passed today that he doesn’t even know. Yall idols be lost. Better stop following the blind. Watch when it’s revealed.”

Well DAMN! Romeo aired their family’s dirty laundry out like a disgruntled maid. But instead of directly reaching out to Romeo, Master P reminded us all he’s still ’bout it ’bout it when it comes to protecting his good name. He, too, took to media to basically say “Romeo shut the fuck up!” without actually saying it.

Master P also released a video on Sunday discussing the issue for the first and last time.

“How do they think they got to where they are without their parents making sacrifices for them?” Master P wrote. “Mental illness is real and so many families are tragically affected by it especially when there is added trauma like death of a loved on.”

“Son, I love you. Stop trying to get people to feel sorry for you. And let’s come up with a solution,” he added. “You can come talk to your father and your family, like a man, you have kids too. No family is perfect but together with God, we can heal and get through this.”

For his response, Romeo basically yawned at this father’s pleas and then pulled out a different set of receipts involving their family’s line of snacks called Rap Snacks.  TMZ reports Romeo claims he was never paid for his involvement with the brand. In another lengthy non-poetic post, Romeo says in part:

“This year I will get my first Rap Snacks check and finally start receiving my earnings from my bags. I was told as a kid that we owned Rap Snacks, and that my payday would come after we put in work and sold the company, silly me! I promoted a company for free for 15+ years based on the word of my pops, without being allowed to see any contracts or even meet with the team, and I stayed loyal… but I’m entitled and ungrateful now?”

It looks like there won’t be any Christmas dinners at the Miller household this year. And perhaps, instead of using the internet as a mediator, they should see if a therapist has the hook up towards them resolving their issues away from the spotlight.
