Nick Cannon Feels Guilty About Not Having Enough Time To Spend With All Of His Children

Nick Cannon is known for many things. Actually, scratch that. Nick Cannon is primarily known for not putting a rubber on it and adding about 1% humans more to the global population. Every year (at minimum!), we’re introduced to a new member of the Cannon brood and treated to a picture of Nick and child wearing matching onesies. However, behind the smiles, Nick is secretly sad that he doesn’t spend all that much time with his children. It gets difficult when you have more kids than days of the week!

Nick began his journey into fatherhood with Moroccan and Monroe with Queen of Christmas (trademark denial be damned!) Mariah Carey. And as they say, once you pop, you just can’t stop! The Masked Singer host became dad to Golden Sagon, Powerful Queen, and Rise Messiah with Brittany Bell; Zion, Zillion, and Beautiful with Abby De La Rosa; Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; Onyx Ice with Lanisha Cole; and Zen (who sadly passed away at just five months old) with Alyssa Scott. Alyssa is currently pregnant with his 12th child. Outlining Nick’s family tree is like writing out the credits to a sci-fi fantasy movie! I mean, his baby budget is about the cost of a feature-length film.

Sadly, money can’t buy you multiple Nick Cannon clones to spend time with the kids (thank God for the limitations of science), so the host struggles to have daddy days out with his progeny. Nick discussed his son Zen’s life and explained his current fatherly predicament as part of a new show The Checkup with Dr. David Agus. via Page Six:

Nick Cannon admitted he feels “guilt” over not being able to spend enough time with his enormous brood of kids.

The “Masked Singer” host currently has 11 children with a 12th on the way and is struggling to keep up with the Cannons and balance his career.

“Being a father of multiple kids, it’s always the biggest guilt on me is that I don’t get to spend enough time with all my children,” Cannon said during an episode of Paramount+’s “The Checkup with Dr. David Agus.”

“One ’cause I’m constantly working and two because I’m just spread thin,” he continued.

You’re spread thin because you keep spreading it around, Nick. Put on the brakes (and condoms) and you’ll ensure that you can see your current kids in between episodes of costumed former NFL players and reality stars doing terrible renditions of New York, New York! Nick’s Christmas Day schedule must be a nightmare with the holidays around the corner. Supposedly, he already has a plan.

“It’s not going to be so easy this Christmas due to work, but he’s determined to see them all. He loves his kids equally, they keep him strong and energised and ambitious,” an insider told Heat magazine.

They added: “He’s a proud papa, that’s for sure.”

Factor in the holiday traffic, and it’ll probably take him through next year to see all of his kids! Here’s a clip of Nick talking about his dad guilt:
