Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Netflix Docuseries Is Reportedly Coming Out December 8

There’s been a lot of buzz about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s upcoming Netflix docuseries. In the wake of THE QUEEN’S death, Harry and Meghan allegedly wanted to cut out chunks of the doc to soften what they’d said on camera (“Edit out me’ entire monologue where I call me’ grandmum a squeaky ol’ fart balloon”). There were also reports that Netflix had delayed the release date because it was too close to the fifth season of The Crown. But, last week, we learned that Netflix would go ahead with their original plan and drop the doc in early December. And now we have a possible release date: Page Six reports that the docuseries will come out December 8. Wow. Woooow. On the 42nd anniversary of John Lennon’s untimely death? How gauche.

Sources tell Page Six that the Liz Arbus-directed docuseries, which is part of Harry and Meghan’s multimillion-dollar deal with Netflix, was originally called Chapters. But then the couple changed their minds and nixed that shit (probably because it was equal parts vague n’ vanilla). No word on what the new title is, but let’s hope it incorporates the Sussexes’ go-to “Arch” prefix: Archenemies, Archangels, Archives, Architects Of Their Own Demise. Oo! Or, Harry and Meghan could use the title as an opportunity to reveal who made those comments about baby Archie’s skin color: It Was Camilla: The Netflix Docuseries.

So, the countdown to this either extremely boring or totally shocking docuseries begins. Two-and-half weeks of Meghan worrying how she’ll come off on camera. Two-and-half weeks of Prince Harry stressing over whether or not that Page Six source was right, and the doc contradicts what he’s written in his upcoming memoir, Spare (set to be released on January 10). Don’t be so hard on yourself, Harry. I constantly contradict myself when I’m shit-talking my friends and family members. “I hate that biotch. She’s toxic, and I’m setting a boundary, and I’m ignoring her texts and– oh, her birthday is next week? And she’s rented out a bar? And DRINKS ARE FREE?!?! Well, she’s my best friend, so of course I’ll be there.”
