Lindsay Lohan And Her Husband Made Their Red Carpet Debut, And She Talked About Her Return To Hollywood

Last night was the New York premiere of the new Lindsay Lohan Netflix movie, Falling for Christmas. OK, it wasn’t so much a “premiere” as it was a “fan screening,” but a red carpet is a red carpet, baby! And Lindsay walked it with her new husband, Bader Shammas, and a couple of other very special guests: sister/co-star Ali Lohan, age 28, and her mother, Dina Lohan, age 60. Doneta Melina Nicolette Lohan (née Sullivan) hath returneth!
Computer, zoom in on Dina:
Ooo, look at those hungry, camera-lovin’ eyes. She’s been manifesting this comeback for yeeeears. Long Island craft stores must be relieved; Dina exhausted their supplies making vision boards. Although, to be fair, most of White Oprah’s boards were for wishing her catfish fiancé into our reality. 36-year-old Lindsay also seems happy to be back, and told Yahoo she missed being on set and “making movies for my fans and for my audience.” She says her return to film worked out “perfectly”: “I just felt like it was time, and it was just a matter of time before I found the right script.” But she did face some nerves:
“The first day on set I’m always nervous on any set I’m on,” the 36-year-old says, noting she was “even more nervous on this one, but more excited. I don’t know if I was annoying! I was just really excited to be there.” (For the record, Chord Overstreet says she was not annoying.) “I felt really grateful, I feel really blessed,” Lohan continues. “It’s all been a lot of fun.”
Well, that’s nice. For the screening, Lindsay worked with stylist Law Roach. This is a wee bit surprising because Lindsay actually dissed Law back in 2019. He styled Zendaya for the 2019 Met Gala (the theme was camp). She wore a light-up Tommy Hilfiger Cinderella gown, and everyone went nuts over it:

But Lilo wasn’t a fan. Page Six reports that she took to social media to compare the look to Claire Danes’ light-up Met Gala dress from three years earlier, writing, “@Clairedanes you wore this dress so beautifully, I don’t know why someone thinks that they can be more chic. Ever,” and, “Claire Danes did that with @zacposen already.” Later, Law was asked what he thought about Lindsay’s comments. He smirked and said, “I don’t know her.” Well, it looks like these two settled their teeny-tiny tiff, cuz here they are, making beautiful fashion together three years later!
Here are more pics of Lilo’s look and not-horrible-seeming (so far) husband, Bader, whom she described on Good Morning America as “a very calm person.” Hopefully, she’s not exaggerating. Dude will need the composure of a Buddhist monk to live with Lindsay “The Personification of Chaos” Lohan…
