James Corden Apologized After The Owner Of Balthazar Called Him The Restaurant’s Most Abusive Customer Of All-Time

24 hours. That’s how long the staff at the New York restaurant, Balthazar, had of a reprieve from the “tiny Cretin of a man,” known as James Corden. Yesterday, the owner of Balthazar, Keith McNally, publicly banned James Corden while posting about his repeated harassment and belligerence towards the restaurant staff. But now it’s over! James called Keith to salvage his public reputation before he could get fully Ellen DeGeneres-ed. James “profusely apologized” to Keith, and now he’s welcome to terrorize the Balthazar staff once again!

I guess because James knows his show is ending next year, he’s thrown caution to the wind and is going full asshole. Keith took to Instagram yesterday to recount two of the moments that earned James a place at the very top of Balthazar’s shit list. Keith called James a “hugely gifted comedian,” (debatable) “but a tiny Cretin of a man,” (no comment). via People:

The first account, McNally said dates back to June, when Corden was seated at table 61 and found a hair in his food.

“Although this is diabolical, it happens Very occasionally in all restaurants,” McNally wrote. He alleged that once Corden finished eating his main course, the “TV personality showed the hair to Balthazar manager G. who was very apologetic. Corden was extremely nasty to G, and said: “Get us another round of drinks this second. And also take care of all of our drinks so far. This way I write any nasty reviews in yelp or anything like that.””

The second account allegedly occurred on Oct. 9, when Corden was having brunch with his wife, McNally said. Corden asked to be sat outside, and a waitress put them at table 301. Corden’s wife requested an egg yolk omelette with gruyere cheese and salad.

“A few minutes after they received the food, James called their server, M. K. and told her there was a little bit of egg white mixed with the egg yolk,” McNally wrote. “M. K. informed the floor manager, G. The kitchen remade the dish but unfortunately sent it with home fries instead of salad.”

McNally alleged, “That’s when James Corden began yelling like crazy to the server: “You can’t do your job! You can’t do your job! Maybe I should go into the kitchen and cook the omelette myself!”

He said the server was “very apologetic and brought G. over to the table. He returned the dish, and after that, everything was fine. He gave them promo Champagne glasses to smooth things out. G. said that Corden was pleasant to him but nasty to the server. “M.K. was very shaken, but professional that she is, continued to finish her shift.””

Here’s Keith’s first post:

And yes, that egg yolk omelette is a thing:

Of course, more people then came out saying how much of a dick James is:

Keith told Page Six he was “reluctant” to call out James publicly but “did so out of loyalty to restaurant servers everywhere… Their jobs are hard enough already. They shouldn’t have to take this kind of abuse from anyone, especially the rich and famous.” And the move worked because James stopped harassing people on the freeway dressed as a mouse, tucked his fake tail between his legs, and apologized. Keith accepted James’ apology, and James is welcome back at Balthazar. RICH ASSHOLE CRISIS AVERTED!

Let’s jump back to where Keith said that James ate the food and then tried to get free shit by complaining about a hair being in the meal he just finished. Shame: James Corden has none! Jimmy Corden needs to come face-to-face with his nemesis:

She’ll stop that tiny cretin of a man from trying to get free crap and harassing servers!
