Ginuwine Passed Out During A Magic Stunt For Criss Angel’s Upcoming TV Show

Long gone are the days when former stripper Ginuwine enticed all the ladies for an endorphin-releasing ride on his magical pony (more like magical horse). But perhaps it’s time he leaves the magic to the real professionals, especially after he almost danced his way on up to see Jesus during a stunt with magician Criss Angel. The pinnacle of quality television, The CW, is about to release a new series titled Magic With The Stars, which features fame-hungry celebrities who will train with Criss to perform death-defying stunts during a magic act. But unfortunately for Ginuwine, he risked it all to potentially become the next RIP hashtag when a stunt that was supposed to help him get over his fear of being underwater ensured he will never get into a pool or take a bath again.

According to The Daily Mail, Ginuwine is one of the celebs partaking in this guaranteed one-season series because if these are the kind of results garnered by performing such stunts, the show should be canceled now before someone dies. And if they ever need proof, they can review the footage of Ginuwine being pulled from his crate filled with water like an overcooked spaghetti noodle, as the cameramen zoom in on his face wondering if the near-death experience sent chii-ii-ILLLLLS up and down his spine.

R’n’b artist Ginuwine passed out while taking part in a dangerous stunt for superstar magician Criss Angel’s Magic with the Stars in Las Vegas, Nevada earlier this week.

In an exclusive video obtained by DailyMail.com, the 51-year-old Pony singer is seen attempting to hold his breath while submerged under water in a glass cube before bashing at the sides to signal his distress.

According to an undisclosed source, paramedics were called to the scene as the performer – real name Elgin Baylor Lumpkin – was carried away onstage unconscious though is understood to have later made a full recovery.

Here’s the footage:

I was a bit surprised to see Ginuwine’s name attached to this project with names like Flavor Flav, Debbie Gibson, and Donnie Osmond, or as I like to call them, The Chase A Check Crew. I never thought Ginuwine would become its newest member, but with seven children to support and not enough hits to keep the money body rollin’ into his bank account, he probably has no other choice. Still, don’t die on us trying to keep your finances and relevance intact. We still need you around for many years to provide us with more sweet dance moves.
