Cheetos’ Cheetle Statue!

Christ The Redeemer, Leshan Giant Buddha, and the Dolly Parton statue in Sevierville, TN now have some company in the category of famous holy statues of the world. Because Cheetos’ latest stunt is a giant statue that pays tribute to Cheetle, the dust of a Cheeto that clings to your fingers and gives you a reason to gross everyone out by furiously licking up that processed cheese powder. To the disciples of the religion known as Cheetoanity, Cheetle is like the blood of Christ. So yes, devoted Cheetos disciple Britney Spears is definitely twirling on over to Canada where the Cheetle monument currently sits. Cheetos unveiled the Cheetle statue in Cheadle, Alberta. Now, we just need a picture of Don Cheadle in front of the Cheetle statue in Cheadle, Alberta, and the Cheetle/Cheadle trinity will be complete!

In a press release burped up by Cheetos, they say that their 17-foot tall ode to Cheetle will be on display at 400 Railway Ave in Cheadle until November 4, and then it will go on tour through the rest of Canada. via Today:

“Cheetos fans have always known that the delicious, cheesy dust on their fingertips is an unmistakably delicious part of the Cheetos experience, but now it officially has a name: Cheetle,” said Lisa Allie, Senior Marketing Director, PepsiCo Foods Canada. “We’re excited to be celebrating Cheetle and Canadians’ cheesy, Cheetle-dusted fingertips on such a grand scale and in such a uniquely mischievous way.”

While Don Cheadle has yet to take a selfie in front of the Cheetle statute in Cheadle, Alberta, Canadian legend k.d. lang made sure to pay her respects to this important piece of HIGH ART:

Why do I have a feeling that the Cheetle monument’s tour through Canada will bring out massive protests from devotees of Canada’s own cheese puff Cheezies. I mean, where is the traveling Cheezies monument?! And as Cheezie fans protest the Cheetle monument, stoners will try to climb it to lick up that Cheetos “dust.” Chester Cheetah already proved he’s a master of chaos with Cheetos Flamin’ Hot Mtn Dew, but he’s proven it again with the Cheetle statue!
