Dane Cook Jokes About The 27-Year Age Difference Between Him And His Fiancé Kelsi Taylor In New Comedy Special

When Dane Cook first started dating his now 23-year-old fiancé, Kelsi Taylor, she was 19 years old. Pictures of her with her 27-year-older boyfriend were… uncomfortable to experience, but time ticks on and now she’s 23, and he’s 50 years old which is still 27 years older than her. But hey, while some may be creeped out to know that this middle-aged man is engaged to a woman he met as a teenager, he thinks it’s hilarious! In his new special, Dane jokes about how old he is compared to his once-teen-girlfriend. Love that! I have no joke for this–I mean, who would expect Dane Cook to have shame?

Dane and Kelsi dated for five years before getting engaged this past July.  And in his new comedy special, Dane Cook: Above It All, he jokes about his insanely younger girlfriend, via E! News:

“She saw everything that I was working on for the show,” he exclusively told E! News during the Oct. 4 premiere of his new special. “And she was like, “Keep that in. I think that part will be great.” There’s even some fun at our own expense.”

What aspect of Dane’s relationship did he bring to the stage? Their 27-year age gap, of course. “We have a bit of an age difference, so it’s in the show, it’s in the show,” he noted. “If we can’t laugh at it, then nobody else is allowed.”

And in case you’re wondering: “What is this HILARIOUS joke Dane told about their age difference?“, here’s at least one of them:

“And I said: “Where have you been all my life?” And then I remembered, she wasn’t alive for the first 26 years of it.”

Here’s the trailer for Dane’s comedy special if that’s something you want to watch today:

I don’t think Dane Cook knows the difference between “laughing” and “cringing.” Because I’m pretty sure that the latter is what many people do while witnessing him frolicking through MidLifeCrisisVille. But maybe Dane is the one who is doing most of the laughing like when a server says to him, “Oh, sir, I love your Michael Myers’ mask. So spot-on. Also, what would your daughter like to drink? We have several mocktail options to choose from.”
