Mila Kunis Says She And Ashton Kutcher Have An Open-Door Policy In Their Home, Bathrooms Included

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher have been at the forefront of the “skanky relatable family” schtick ever since they revealed that they don’t bathe their kids unless they see dirt on them and Ashton only ever washes his pits and crotch. Try-hards Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard even jumped on the bandwagon and made it known that they don’t wash their kids until they stink. Well, it’s time for Mila and Ashton to double down on their grossness and begin the next conversation among odiferous people who can definitely access proper hygiene and etiquette yet still reject it. Mila says they have an “open-door policy” and keep all doors in their house open, even when they’re using the bathroom.

E! News interviewed Mila since she’s promoting her upcoming Netflix movie, Luckiest Girl Alive. So naturally, the conversation veered to a topic that she could make foul; because at this point, it has to be one of the Mila specialties on her approved list of discussion topics. And since it’s already assumed that she and her family’s bodies probably stink, she also led us to the plausible conclusion that the air in their “sustainable farmhouse” also smells faintly of shit.

Mila revealed that in her household, there are no closed doors no matter the room.

Now, if this comes as a shock to you, just know it was once a surprise to Mila, too. She noted, “I’d never thought that I would be the person that was able to go to the bathroom with the door open.”

Mila says that she and Ashton gave up on doing the doodoo with the door shut because her kids always try to claw their way in. Anyone with kids knows that they love to gnaw on your attention, your unfulfilled dreams, and your last damn nerve, so the logic checks out. But, this is one of those pieces of dignity that you either don’t give up or don’t tell anyone about if you do.

…The Black Swan actress—who shares 7-year-old daughter Wyatt and 5-year-old son Dimitri with Ashton—explained that the door being open was inevitable because her family was knocking and asking to come in. She added, “I was like, ‘Oh, forget it. Just keep the door open.'”

Mila brought it all back around to how close she is with her family, which is probably a good thing since the stench emanating from her, Ashton, and their offspring is something that only people related to them are willing to put up with.

“I’m so fortunate…I have a great relationship with my parents, a great relationship with my brother. I have an amazing partner. I have two little munchkins, like, I am very lucky.”

“Given how I grew up, the fact I own a house and a car, that surpassed anything and everything,” she said. “When you get older, then you realize you can’t buy time and you can’t buy health, so the second you have time and the second you got health, you’re like, ‘Wow, I’m so lucky.'”

Mila and Ashton do spread some good in the world, and not just dust clouds, hot cabbage fumes, and dingleberries; so why insist on perpetuating this oversharing musty, dusty, dregs of Hollywood narrative? At least no one can accuse them of being cited for California water use violations, but their house better be sealed tight, so their loosey-goosey bathroom smells don’t lead to air quality violations.
