La Bussi, Spain’s new transportation mascot!
The new messy face of Spain’s transit system, Bussi, went viral about a week ago, and that’s approximately 9,758 centuries in internet time. But it’s never too late to pay tribute to a nightmare clown mascot who shares the name with the slang word for dude asshole!
The powers-that-be of Spain’s Sabadell bus service decided that its mascot really needed to look like the horrifying clown baby that was pulled out of Mr Blobby’s birthin’ hole months after Mr Blobby had some bareback fun with that bloated jizz-looking creature from Big Hero 6. La Bussi also looks like what you’d see if you dropped acid and stared at a Rorschach sketch of a Killer Clown from Outer Space. And not only did La Bussi go viral for its terrifying acid trip looks, but it also went viral for its name. Sabadell may get several cease and desists from power bottoms whose b-holes are already known as La Bussy. Because the slang word “bussy” is short for boy pussy.

Believe it or not, Sabadell did not name their mascot after boy pussy. As Junkee points out, the name Bussi is actually a mix of bus and si:
The name is a portmanteau of bus and the Spanish word for yes, ‘si’ –which the TUS claims summarises the spirit of the campaign — with Bussi itself making guest appearances during special occasions as well as in Sabadell’s children’s program.
Bussi was designed by Ariadna Lara, a student at art school Escola Illa in Barcelona, and was brought to life by costume designer Lisa Boada.
I love La Bussi, but I bet that nobody loves La Bussi more than Gerard Pique. Because now he’s no longer known as the biggest butthole in Spain.
