Open Post: Hosted By Whoopi Goldberg Addressing Her Lack Of Eyebrows On “The View”

Whoopi Goldberg has been serving questionable takes on The View since 2007, and some of the shit that comes out of her talk-hole when it comes to topics like skeezy dudes or the Holocaust must be so distracting that a large sector of the population never realized that she’s rocking zero eyebrows. People says that on Monday’s episode, Whoopi introduced a segment about the recent celebrity “no-brow” trend, which was an appropriate segue for her to explain why she’s been without them for most of her life.

While my guess would have been that the toxic fumes from Whoopi’s on-air flatulence and elevator fart battles melted those brows right off, apparently in-grown hairs are to blame. via People:

The EGOT winner, 66, revealed why she doesn’t have eyebrows Monday on The View as she and her co-hosts discussed how Kendall Jenner, Lady Gaga and Doja Cat have recently popularized the “no-brow look.”

“I had eyebrows as a little kid and you know how men get those bumps? I started to get them on my face so my mother removed them,” Goldberg explained. “And so I just keep doing it because I don’t know my face with eyebrows unless I’m working — they put them on and take them off.”

Some of the co-hosts she’s been working with for a while never even noticed, probably because Whoopi never had a problem raising her brows at whiny windbag, Meghan McCain, before going in on her (deservedly). 

Her fellow panelist Sara Haines admitted she “never noticed” Goldberg’s lack of eyebrows after sitting next to her on the talk show for six years. Ana Navarro added that she also “was today years old” when she realized.

Whoopi says that she had an ex-husband who didn’t even notice for a while and that people just imagine brows on her face because it’s easy to see where they should go.

Goldberg, who has been married three times, noted that she also had one of her ex-husbands fooled: “I was married to a man who did not notice until one day he said, ‘Oh my God, you don’t have any eyebrows,’ and I said, ‘Yeah, I know.'”

“Because listen, what you can see on my face, you know where they went. You know where they are. You see. So when you’re looking at me, your eye sees eyebrows when there are none,” Goldberg said.

Let’s hope this trend doesn’t catch on because no one wants to see Doja Cat go off on Twitter about how she was the pioneer of this recent movement!
