Buckingham Palace Announces That THE QUEEN’S Doctors Are “Concerned For Her Health,” And Members Of The Royal Family Are On Their Way To Be With Her (UPDATE)
Buckingham Palace announced that THE QUEEN, Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, has died at 96.
The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

Buckingham Palace announced this morning that THE QUEEN is currently under medical supervision at Balmoral estate in Scotland. THE QUEEN is 96 and she’s become a part-time monarch because of her health woes and has had to miss events. So this news seemed serious but not surprising. But then we heard that her family, including her children and grandchildren, are either with her at Balmoral or on their way. So now it seems like things are reaching Operation London Bridge-levels of serious.
This is the statement from Buckingham Palace, but if the news didn’t come from Hollywood Unlocked’s Jason “Not My Name Is Earl” Lee, do we really believe it?!?
“Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision. The Queen remains comfortable and at Balmoral.”
THE QUEEN’S last public appearance was on Tuesday when she met with new British Prime Minister Liz Truss at Balmoral. THE QUEEN is smiling in these pictures, but I still want to reach through and gently guide her to one of those sofas because she looks like she needs to lay down STAT.
THE QUEEN was supposed to make an appearance at a virtual privy council meeting yesterday, but she pulled out of that meeting and the palace said that after “a full day yesterday, Her Majesty has this afternoon accepted doctors’ advice to rest.”
Prince Edward is on his way to see his mother. THE QUEEN’s other children, Prince Charles, Princess Anne, and the other one are already with their mother at Balmoral. Duchess Camilla and Edward’s wife Sophie Wessex are also at Balmoral. Prince William is on his way, but Duchess Kate reportedly stayed behind because it’s the first day at a new school for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who were already in London for a charity event, are also making the trip to Scotland to be with THE QUEEN. UPDATE: The BBC says that Meghan is not going to Balmoral with Harry and he’s making the trip alone.
May THE QUEEN be surrounded by all her pooches today, and may one of her Corgis shoot the feuding Royal Family a look that clearly says, “Now, don’t try any shit today.”
