Adele Is A Tony Award Away From EGOT, And Some Think She Married Rich Paul

Seen above in the same kind of duck lips-throwing “shot from above” selfie that my aunties always post on Facebook, Adele added yet another trophy to her piles of trophies when she won an Emmy this past weekend for her TV special Adele: One Night Only. Winning an Emmy put Adele just one letter closer to EGOT and she only needs to win a Tony now. Adele also got a little company in The We Just Need A Tony To EGOT Club this weekend, because Eminem, Paul McCartney, and Ringo Starr also won Emmys and are also just a T away from EGOT. So prepare yourselves for an Adele, Eminem, Sir Paul, and Sir Ringo collab called 21 Mile At Abbey Road: THE BROADWAY MUSICAL!

And while celebrating reaching EGO status on Instagram, Adele’s fans noticed a customized game on her coffee table that they believe could be a clue that she married her boyfriend of more than a year, sports agent Rich Paul.

The Primetime Emmys are happening this upcoming Sunday, and so that means the Creative Arts Emmys were this past weekend. Adele’s One Night Only was up for five Emmys including Outstanding Directing For A Variety Special, Outstanding Lighting Design/Lighting Direction For A Variety Special, Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded), Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Variety Series Or Special, and Outstanding Technical Direction, Camerawork, Video Control For A Special. Since it’s ILLEGAL and a sin to vote against Adele for an award, One Night Only won all of its categories. Adele was an executive producer on One Night Only, so she got her first Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special (Pre-Recorded).

Adele already had approximately 976 Grammys (or 15 Grammys if you want to get technical) and an Oscar (for Best Original Song for Skyfall), so she just needs to win a Tony now to get EGOT. And Adele’s now in a race with Eminem, Sir Paul, and Sir Ringo to become the 18th EGOT winner.

Eminem, along with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent, picked up an Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special for their performances in this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show. The Disney+ docu-series The Beatles: Get Back won the Emmy for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series, and since Sir Paul and Sir Ringo were executive producers on it, they got a trophy along with their fellow producers Peter Jackson, Yoko Ono, Olivia Harrison, Clare Olssen, and Jonathan Clyde.

Adele celebrated her EGO win with a couple of SAN FARDS selfies on Instagram:

In the third picture, Adele’s newest trophy sits on a coffee table and her fans noticed that right behind it is a customized box of the game Rummikub with the words “The Paul’s” on it. They think this may be Adele’s way of letting us know that she’s now Adele Laurie Blue Paul.

In the September issue of Elle, Adele said that she’s not engaged or married to Rich Paul but that they may as well be married.

It was rumored that one of the reasons why Adele shit-canned her now-rescheduled Las Vegas residency early this year is because a dickmaitzed Adele was having relationship woes with Rich Paul and wanted to be with him in L.A. So if Adele was supposedly willing to cancel an entire Las Vegas residency over Rich Paul, I doubt she’d announce their marriage with a typo on a game board box! No, at the very, very, very least, Adele would announce she’s married in a song while sitting on top of the New Year’s Eve Ball in Times Square on December 31. And the Tony people would consider her eligible for a Tony for that. Yes, that’s how Adele’s going to get the T in EGOT.
