Alicia Keys Reacts To A Fan Who Grabbed Her Face And Kissed Her Cheek During A Performance

Most people know Alicia Keys as the laid-back lady singer screeching at the top of her lungs in front of a piano, and that can be very charming for some folks. But unfortunately, since she is such a beloved individual (unless you’re talking to Swizz Beatz‘s former wife), people really think they know her. Case in point: one of Alicia’s fans kissed her on the cheek during a performance. And Alicia reacted with a very understandable “What The Fuck?!”

Alicia is currently on her Alicia + Keys World Tour, and during a stop in Canada, one of her fans got handsy and lipsy while she performed Empire State of Mind. Page Six reports that as Alicia strutted around in her fanciest green screen-inspired unitard, a fan who was just a little too familiar, grabbed Alicia’s entire face and planted a big, wet one on her cheek. Hollywood Unlocked posted the footage to their Instagram to show the moment, and Alicia looks just as confused as anyone would in that situation.

The Grammy winner, who had been reaching for audience members’ hands prior to the incident, widened her eyes and pulled away — but continued to sing.

It’s a good thing this overzealous fan didn’t have to find out what it feels like sleeping with a broken jaw because Alicia’s security team let it happen without incident. As for how Alicia feels, she responded to Hollywood Unlocked’s Instagram post with “Trust me, I was like what the FUCK!!!!!!!! Don’t she know what time it is??” Clearly, it was time for you to truly understand a woman’s worth with that weird sign of affection. But this isn’t the first time this has happened. ANOTHER fan caused a commotion during a stop on the tour when they tried to get a hug, and Alicia’s terrified face is screaming “SECURITY!!!“.

Well, if a fan pulls this foolery again, Alicia needs to scream “You don’t know MY name bitch!” at them as they fall to the floor.
