T.I. Punched One Of The Chainsmokers In The Face For Kissing Him On The Cheek
Rapper, T.I. and electronic duo, The Chainsmokers, were in the same space at the same time the other night; and if you’ve read anything about T.I.’s many alleged evils or just about The Chainsmokers’ typical behavior, you may have guessed that they met up and bonded at a creep convention. But they didn’t exactly hit it off unless you count a Chainsmoker getting hit in the face. Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers ended up getting pounded in the face after he got overzealous and kissed habitual societal menace/confrontational shit-stirrer, T.I., on the cheek without his permission.
According to Billboard, Drew posted a TikTok describing “the weirdest interaction ever.”
The story first came to light in a TikTok video posted by the electropop duo, in which The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart explained, “T.I. just literally punched me in the face. We were in a vibe and I was, like, I gave him a kiss on the cheek. It was totally my fault.
“He was like, ‘Don’t do that,’ and I was like, ‘OK.’ And he pushed me off and I was like, ‘All right, my bad,’” Taggart continued as his bandmate Alex Pall cracked up in the background before adding that a friend of T.I.’s demanded, “‘You need to get your boy!’”
Taggart continued: “He punched me in the face and I was like, ‘OK, I’m sorry.’ And he was like, ‘All right, cool. We’re good.’ It was the weirdest interaction ever.”

T.I. corroborated Drew’s story. Apparently, he’s not a fan of being smooched without consent. Perhaps he’s learned something about that from his and wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris’ alleged horrendous behavior?
For his part, T.I. responded to the story with his own video, which was shared by The Shade Room. “There’s really not much more to the story than you’ve already heard,” he admitted with a laugh, but was quick to insist there was no bad blood on his end. “I think the most important thing to take away is afterwards, we had a drink, we took a shot, you dig? You know what I’m saying? And we moved on. You know, everybody left the party, had a good time. Like I said, love The Chainsmokers — not to get no sugar, though.”

Are we sure that Drew’s cheek kiss was the only offense? Maybe he whispered plans into T.I.’s ears about a collab with Iggy Azalea to kick off her comeback, and we all know how T.I. feels about her. Or, T.I. might have been worried that Tiny would find out about the kiss and file for divorce for the fifty–leventh time. At any rate, T.I. should be on his best behavior so he doesn’t end up in the slammer again, and Drew should stick to his trusty hobby of measuring his and Alex’s touching dicks next time he’s “in a vibe.”
