Selena Gomez Says She’ll Quit Acting When She’s Ready To Get Married And Have Kids
Selena Gomez turned 30 last week, and ya know what that means: her biological clock is ticking louder than Vecna’s demon death countdown on Stranger Things. “Your eggs are drying up, Selena… find a mate, or DIE ALONE!” Page Six reports that on a recent episode of the podcast “Giving Back Generation”, Selena confirmed that she wants to get married and have kids, and, when she does, she’ll probably quit acting and “devote most of my life to philanthropy”. Ooo, someone’s barrelling towards a future on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!

“I hope to be married and to be a mom,” the 30-year-old told hosts Raquelle Stevens and Ashley Cook, who also happen to be her longtime friends.
“Eventually, I’m going to be tired of all of this, so I’m probably just going to devote most of my life to philanthropy before I peace out.”
Selena adds that watching her 8-year-old half-sister Grace Teefey grow up helped her realize she wants to be a mom:
“She puts things in perspective,” Gomez said of her sister. “I have to basically watch this little person grow into a human being. There’s no better feeling in the world. I kind of feel like a parent in a way, even though I’m not.”
“It’s so rewarding to just see that life was so simple at one point,” she added. “I want to enjoy life the way she enjoys life.”
Back in June, Selena told the Hollywood Reporter that, if she’d never left Texas for Hollywood in her early teens, she’d probably already have “four kids, for sure. Maybe not planned, maybe planned, maybe both.” She said she’s “grateful” that her mom, 46-year-old Mandy Teefey (she had Selena when she was just 16) gave her the opportunity “to be what I want to be.”
Selena also has been seen “getting cozy” with producer Andrea Iervolino in Italy:

But I don’t blame Selena for wanting to quit acting when she gets knocked up. The girl’s been working since she got on Barney & Friends at age 10. Add in an 8-year-long on-and-off relationship with Justin Bieber and mental and physical health issues, and it makes sense that she’s hurtling towards retirement. Just save some of that energy for your future kids! Or, you know, make the nannies do everything.
