Victoria Beckham And Her New Daughter-In-Law, Nicola Peltz, Are Reportedly Not Talking And Can’t Stand Each Other

Ever since Brooklyn Beckham dared to choose going on summer holiday with new wife Nicola Peltz’sgorgeous family” to celebrate her grandmother’s 94th birthday rather than yachting in Europe with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, the family feud they were already embroiled in has only continued to fester. Who would have thought that a woman who’s eaten the same meal every day of her life for the last quarter century, hates smiling, and has a bucket containing all of her beloved children’s lost teeth wouldn’t get on with her firstborn’s wife who happens to be the child of a billionaire and was first introduced to the scene as New York’s alleged premier nanny abuser?

According to Page Six, the iciness between Victoria and Nicola that began during the planning of her and Brooklyn’s April wedding has only continued to escalate since.

Peltz, 27, just married Brooklyn Beckham, 23 — Victoria’s oldest son with soccer superstar David Beckham — back in April. But we hear trouble was brewing even before the nuptials.

“They can’t stand each other and don’t talk,” a source close to the family told us. “The build-up to the wedding was horrendous.”

The source says that Peltz — who is the actress daughter of New York billionaire Nelson Peltz, a non-executive chairman of Madison Square Garden among other lucrative things —  didn’t want her soon-to-be-mother-in-law “to be any part of the planning, and she wouldn’t clue Victoria in on anything. Communication was minimal.”

Victoria has never been known for her warmth, but Nicola’s cutting off of a woman whose nickname is “Posh” from helping to plan a posh event was surely shots fired. Brooklyn, an aspiring chef (which actually in this case probably just means that his childhood personal chef let him turn on the KitchenAid mixer one time), is stuck in the middle.

They added that it’s become “non-stop petty drama,” and it’s coming between the Beckhams — who now live in Miami — and their model son.

“They haven’t spoken to him much in the last few months,” said a source, who told us that it even went over badly at Chez Becks when Brooklyn posted a cover of British magazine Tatler that called Peltz “The New Mrs. Beckham.”

Nicola, an actress, isn’t doing a good job acting like she likes Victoria, and may be suffering from some jealousy.

The sources suspect that Peltz — who has appeared in A&E drama series “Bates Motel” and in “Transformers: Age of Extinction” — may be suffering from a little jealousy about her man’s globally renowned mom, and isn’t thrilled with the attention she gets, especially around her wedding day.

Perhaps this could all be set right if David and Victoria just invited Nicola and Brooklyn on their next vacation (which is sure to happen in the near future since their whole life seems like a vacation), but Posh would probably rather wear Crocs or give in to a Spice Girls reunion tour than have to join Nicola for breakfast toast on the lido deck. David and Victoria made a mistake by not cautioning Brooklyn against marrying someone from an insanely affluent family who are all close and will always have competing luxury plans. Romeo, Cruz, and Harper Beckham: either marry poor, normal civilians or rich people who happen to hate their family if you ever want mumsy to smile upon them (with her eyes only, of course).
