Hot Slut Of The Day!
Go For Broke!
Go For Broke! is a Monopoly knock-off that I thought came from the 1980s, but it was actually around for decades. But I shouldn’t totally call it a Monopoly knock-off since the goal of the game wasn’t to become an ultra greedy real estate developer who diabolically cackles while taking a player’s last Monopoly dollar. No, Go For Broke! was the opposite. Your goal was to become a regular Tori Spelling and spend all your money until your wallet spit up nothing but mothballs.
Milton Bradley’s Go For Broke!, which came out in 1965, was a roll and move game where each player started off with $1 million. You took turns rolling the dice and moving around the game board to spend your money at the race track, casino, and the stock market. But you didn’t pay a visit to the race track or casino to hopefully win big money, you wanted to lose it all. The first player to go broke, won!
I’m actually surprised that Go For Broke! lasted so long. I mean, many of us don’t need a Go For Broke! board game, because we’ve been playing a real-life game of Go For Broke! our entire adult lives and are winning at it! Yes, I’m good at something!
