Florence Pugh Is Reportedly Not Happy About Olivia Wilde And Harry Styles “On-Set Affair,” Which Is Why She Hasn’t Been Promoting “Don’t Worry Darling”

Florence Pugh is usually active on social media, and recently, she’s posted about Oppenheimer (a movie she’s got a supporting role in), dragged tricks for not letting her pink chiffon-covered nipple knobs be great, and used her Instagram likes to show her support for Johnny Depp. But one thing she hasn’t done recently is promote Don’t Worry Darling, a movie that she has the starring role in and comes out pretty soon (September 23). It seems like the last time Florence posted about Don’t Worry Darling was last year and on the same day that the movie’s second trailer was released, she posted about Oppenheimer instead. This has led to rumors that the real drama of Don’t Worry Darling happened behind the cameras. And now a source tells Page Six that Florence is pissed at Don’t Worry’s director Olivia Wilde for hooking up with the movie’s other star Harry Styles while still with Jason Sudeikis. But maybe Florence hasn’t been promoting it because she saw the trailer with the rest of us and thought, “Err, I don’t need to remind everyone that I’m in that bootleg Stepford Wives shit.

Olivia Wilde’s split from Jason Sudeikis was announced in November 2020, and at the time, a “source” said that their 9-year relationship ended earlier in the year. But then another source said that Olivia actually ended things with Jason in October 2020, just a month after production reportedly began on Don’t Worry Darling. Jason was apparently “blindsided” by the split. Olivia hasn’t directly responded to the speculation that she self-home wrecked her relationship with Jason by passing her wandering poon to Harry Styles, but she did call the rumorsfalse narratives.” Well, Olivia isn’t going to like what Page Six’s source says. Their source claims Florence is upset with Olivia for shamelessly flaunting her unprofessionalism and alleged cheating ways by getting all over Harry during filming.

But Hollywood is buzzing that the 26-year-old actress has fallen out with Wilde, 38, over the director hooking up with Styles.

“I can tell you for a fact that Flo seeing Olivia and Harry all over each other on set did not go down well as Olivia was still with Jason when she first hooked up with Harry,” one insider told Page Six, referring to Wilde’s ex, “Ted Lasso” star Jason Sudeikis.

Page Six thinks they have even more proof that Florence isn’t Wilde about Olivia. Olivia praised Florence and her performance in Don’t Worry Darling on Instagram last week, but Florence has publicly only praised Harry and the hair and makeup department.

On the blue carpet in support of a Tiffany and Co. opening in London this week, Pugh was asked about working with Styles. She said he was “a total professional and it was a great experience working together.”

She then spoke about the cinematography and styling — “It was a joy to walk into the hair and makeup trailer every day,” Pugh said, noting, “the way that everything looks delicious and golden” — but had nothing to say about her director, Wilde.

And over at the pinnacle of 100% truthiness known as TikTok, users are spitting out even more speculation, like how Florence and Harry got close at the beginning of filming, but their friendship took a backseat when Olivia started humping on Harry. There’s also a DeuxMoi not-at-blind item that claims Olivia was so distracted by her thing with Harry that Florence, who is not a director, had to pick up some of the slack and the movie’s cinematographer ended up doing most of the work. Oh yes, that doesn’t at all sound like something scorned Larry Stylinson stans came up with.

Florence hasn’t said shit about this, and she’s usually quick to respond to rumors. She recently-ish slapped at the rumor that she and Zach Braff split and she’s moved on to Will Poulter. But a different source tells Page Six that Florence is busy shooting Dune: Part Two, and will be involved in Don’t Worry Darling’s promo tour when it starts next month.

Don’t Worry Darling will have its world premiere at next month’s Venice Film Festival. So we’ll see if Florence shows up, or if she’ll take a page out of the playbook of Jason Sudeikis’ process server and serve Olivia with a scathing letter on the red carpet. Olivia should borrow Lady Gaga’sinvisible shield” just in case.
