Alyssa Farah Griffin is an ex-Trumper who worked in the Trump White House, and well, now she’s expected to permanently take the conservative chair on The View, which was left empty by Meghan McICantWithYou. Alyssa, who’s been filling in/trying out on the show for a while, hasn’t signed yet but it’s probably going to happen and an announcement will be made in the next few weeks. But well, The View producers may have stepped into another mess. Wanda Sykes reportedly refused to be on the show earlier this month after finding out that Alyssa was guest co-hosting because Wanda didn’t want to help “a Trumper launder her reputation.” And if other celebs join Wanda’s alleged boycott, The View may have to find another Republican co-host. Honestly, they should just stop fighting it and give the Republican seat to a Lucille Bluth hologram. It’s the only answer! – Variety
