Candace Cameron Bure Shared A Bible Verse After JoJo Siwa’s “Rudest Celebrity” Comment

Yesterday JoJo Siwa declared war on Candace Cameron Bure when she identified her as the rudest celebrity she’d ever met in a TikTok. JoJo gave zero details as to why she thinks DJ Tanner is a rude biotch, but some guessed it had to do with the fact that the 19-year-old came out as gay last year. And, since 46-year-old Candace is a super conservative “sister in Christ” (according to her Instagram bio), maybe God has something to do with it. Sister Candace has yet to officially respond to JoJo’s allegations, but she did post a Bible verse to her Instagram Stories: “Trust the Lord Always,” with a note that it came from Isaiah 26:4. Wait a sec, lemme check my Bible… OK, here it is in full: “Trust that the Lord will punish shit-talking Rainbow Brite lesbians.” Jesus Christ!

The actual Isaiah 26:4 reads: “Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.” Snooore. What does that even have to do with JoJo? Unless “everlasting rock” is Bible-speak for “vengeful bitch.”

JoJo and Cameron both starred in separate seasons of Dancing with the Stars, and appeared together on The Kelly Clarkson Show back in 2019:

The only possible beef I’m sniffing out is in the second clip, when Candace, who claims everybody calls her “The Queen of Christmas,” promotes her “simple and elegant” Christmas decoration line: “My home is decorated beautifully, but it’s simple.” Then she turns to JoJo, puts her hand on the teenager’s knee, and says, “Maybe a little different from your place.” JoJo laughs (but it doesn’t reach her eyes), and responds, “they call me Willy Wonka… my house is a Christmas creation!”  Candace jokes that she should shoot some of her Hallmark holiday movies there, and then JoJo presents the actress with a special Christmas bow, which she clips to the back of her hair.

So, what does it all mean? Is this a classic Queen of Christmas vs. Willy Wonka showdown? Did Candace shoot a Hallmark movie in JoJo’s mansion and leave her Bibles lying around? Or did these two have a knock-down-drag-out backstage fight which Kelly Clarkson had to break up, Jerry Springer-styles? Help us, Kelly Clarkson, you’re our only hope!
