A Cosmetic Aesthetician Apologized For Showing What She’d Change About Natalia Dyer’s Face

Stranger Things is a wildly popular show with a cast that has devoted fans, and with notoriety always comes people who want to act the damn fool and bring the room down (see: Doja Cat’s Noah Schnapp fuckery saga). Apparently the Stranger Things kids’ faces aren’t even safe, and on the latest edition of “How Dare You?” a certified aesthetic nurse practitioner injector named Miranda Wilson decided to make an unsolicited TikTok outlining everything she would do to tweak Natalia Dyer’s face, using Photoshop to show what Natalia would look like after she was done fixing it. People obviously went awf about it in the comments, because Natalia, who plays Nancy Wheeler on the show, has said nothing about how she feels about her face or that she desires to change it. Miranda felt the heat and deleted the original TikTok and then posted a follow-up to “clear the air” and show what she’s done to her own face.

According to Page Six, even though the original TikTok has been removed, it has been making the rounds on Twitter and has rightfully sparked pitchforks and torches.

Miranda Wilson, or @np.miranda on TikTok, posted a since-deleted video suggesting what type of work she would perform on “Stranger Things” actress Natalia Dyer’s face.

The resurfaced video is trending on Twitter amid a backlash to Wilson’s proposed “treatments” for the 27-year-old star.

Here’s the vid that sparked the Twitter backlash:

Miranda says that she’d treat Natalia’s masseter (jaw) muscles to slim the face, inject chin filler to make her face heart-shaped, fill her lips, give her a Botox brow lift, and use Sculptra. She then showed what all of that work would look like. Spoiler alert: on top of the fact that Natalia is already gorgeous as-is and no one asked Miranda for her assessment, the “after” photo is ridiculous and looked like an Instagram model and a Bratz Doll became one. The general consensus of people’s replies was that they’d like to find something to inject in obnoxious people like Miranda Wilson to make them disappear completely.

Miranda felt the heat and decided to respond. She “did not mean to offend anyone, including Natalia” and she was “simply just offering suggestions, not on what you HAVE to do, just on what the possibilities are.” Here’s her full backpedal (where she made sure to keep comments off) where she misses the point completely by showing what she’s done to her own face.

@np.miranda

#greenscreen hoping to clear the air that I was not suggesting that Natalia NEEDED any of that work it was just an example. Of course Natalia is absolutely stunning the way she is…that’s why she’s so successful. Her photo was simply an example. Im sorry if peole took that as being mean or rude, that was not my intent at all

Toxik TikTokker Miranda should have left Natalia alone and stuck to only tweaking the KarJenner Koven mugs that brought Photoshopping, filtering, tweaking, filling, injecting, and face transplanting into the mainstream. No one would have batted an eye, and Kris Jenner would probably consider employing her in-house.
