Nick Cannon Calls His Relationship Infrastructure “Consensual Non-Monogamy”

Most of us probably would be fine never hearing about what Nick Cannon’s unsheathed dick is up to again, but it seems like his goal these days is for his reproductive and courting habits to be the talk of the dinner table. Since his short-lived talk show is no longer, he’s taken to touring other platforms to remind us that he is very fertile and has sex with many women. This time, he explained that he doesn’t do monogamy (duh), he practices what he calls “consensual non-monogamy.” “Ohhhh that’s good!” cried Elon Musk and Tristan Thompson, in unison while high-fiving.

According to Entertainment Tonight, sperminator Nick was a guest on a YouTube Live interview about “open monogamy” where he talked about his unique relationship “infrastructure.”

The 41-year-old dad of seven, with more on the way this year, appeared in a YouTube Live interview with R&B duo DVSN and sex therapist Dr. Tammy Nelson to discuss the concept of “open monogamy” and the state of romantic relationships in the current age. Nelson, whose book is titled Open Monogamy, describes the arrangement as having “a primary or central partner, but you have a flexible and fluid relationship agreement.”

“I’ve practiced monogamy, I’ve been a cheater, I’ve been toxic,” Cannon discloses, adding that today he is just trying to “be the best self I can possibly be and be the best father I can possibly be.”

“It all starts with honesty,” he continues, noting that his own romantic relationships tend to include “contingencies based off of what allows me to be the best me I can possibly be.”

“It’s really just surface, basic stuff,” he says. “One of my therapists coined what I do as consensual non-monogamy. Because to even pretend like I’m in a monogamous relationship, that would be misleading. Because, as we know, monogamy defines one thing — and people like to classify what I do as polyamory or polygamy, but even that, I always say to define me is to confine me.”

He also discusses “toxic energy” he encounters and people “hating on what they don’t understand.” Maybe they’re just hating on the fact that you won’t stop talking about it? Just an idea.

Here’s the full video, if you like listening to a lot of words that add up to not very much actually being said. A kid screams at the very beginning, which I can only assume is one from Nick’s child army:

When asked if the women he sees can practice non-monogamy as well, he kind of glazed over the answer and then got lost in his own sauce again. He really thinks he’s on to something here with his progressive procreation and relationship views, but if he were really smart, he would have done everything to stay with that golden goose, Mariah Carey. That All I Want For Christmas is You money will far outlast his hosting gig on The Masked Singer, and when all of the women he’s currently seeing get sick of being mixed up since he has so many partners’ and kids’ names and birthdates to keep straight, he’ll be sad, broke, and alone in a room full of his sparkly turbans.
