Just Call Her JAf! Jennifer Lopez Has Changed Her Name To Jennifer Affleck After Marrying Ben Affleck In Las Vegas

As you already know because the information was beamed into all of our heads via the CERN portal, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck finally got married over the weekend. But PLOT TWIST, they didn’t get married in a four-day $100 million wedding extravaganza that was streamed live on Netflix. No, instead, they married like peasants in a low-key quickie Las Vegas ceremony, and probably so they could say, “See, we can marry like you peasants too!” And after marrying Ben, “JLo” is gone. She’s changed her name to Jennifer Affleck. JAf? Jennifer as fuck? ….Mehhh, it’s not the same.
52-year-old Jennifer and 49-year-old Ben got hitched this weekend in a Las Vegas ceremony that we all learned about after the fact via JLo’s newsletter, On The JLo. Guess she’ll have to rebrand that, too! The couple rekindled their early-aughts love back in May 2021 and then got engaged this past April. While these two were going crazy with the pap strolls and PR shots at the beginning, Bennifer knows the power of a good tease. So they had a “super, super small” wedding according to sources who spoke with People.
Months after revealing their engagement in April 2022, the couple obtained a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada, over the weekend, according to court records obtained by PEOPLE.
The duo then wed in a “small” ceremony, a source tells PEOPLE. “It was super, super small. They just wanted to be married so they got married,” an insider says.
After the nuptials, JAf posted to Instagram a sneaky tease for the regulars and sent out an update to the diehard fans who follow her newsletter. With the hashtag “If you know, you know”, JAf directed everyone to her wedding announcement in her newsletter:
In the post, Jennifer wrote in part, via E! News:
“We did it… Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient. Exactly what we wanted. Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world.”
The artiste formerly known as JLo signed off her letter by calling herself, “Mrs. Jennifer Lynn Affleck.” And People confirms that she’s legally changed her last name to Affleck.
Per the marriage license, which was obtained by PEOPLE, Lopez plans to use Affleck’s last name as her own.
A Clark County Clerk’s Office marriage license record names Benjamin Geza Affleck as Party 1 and Jennifer Lopez is named as Party 2. Nothing is listed under the “new name” section for Party 1, however, Party 2’s “new name” is listed as “Jennifer Affleck.”
The marriage certificate, which must be filed within 10 days of the ceremony, had not yet been filed as of Sunday afternoon.
Here are some more “wedding glam” shots from Jennifer’s hairdresser:

This is JAf’s fourth marriage as she was married to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998, Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003, and Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014. It’s Ben’s second as he was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018. And I’m sure this will be the last marriage for the both of them since their marital love will outlive us all. I was going to say that we should all go back and watch Gigli to remember where their love first bloomed, but we’ve all been through enough already!
