Noah Schnapp Says That He Apologized To Doja Cat And Everything Is Good Now

Last week, we bore witness to a hookup attempt that was sloppier than a Taco Bell Mexican Pizza on a Monday at midnight when Stranger Things teen, Noah Schnapp, went on TikTok and revealed (like any 17-year-old would) that Doja Cat asked him via DM to fetch her the digital info of his co-star, Joseph Quinn, because she was somehow too inept at using a search bar to figure it out on her own. Although Noah gave her what she came for, the fact that he didn’t keep it on the low displeased Doja, so she took to TikTok live and said that what Noah did was “snake shit,” “whack” and “socially unaware.” “’Socially unaware’ she says? That’s rich!” replied everyone. But it looks like all’s well that ends well, because Noah says that he apologized to Doja and they’re good now.

E! News says that Noah posted a TikTok set to a sped-up version of Doja Cat’s song Kiss Me More (because using it at normal speed wasn’t ear-bleedingly unpleasant enough) and in the caption, explained that they made amends.

“Guys everything is all good,” he wrote underneath a July 13 TikTok video that featured the singer’s hit “Kiss Me More” playing in the background. “I apologized and I still follow her and love her music no hard feelings.”

Here’s that TikTok, in case you’d like to reminisce about The Chipmunks or wonder what they’d sound like if they made modern-day, even worse songs:

He demonstrated that everything is so amazingly fine that he can do math problems while listening to one of her songs at 2x playback speed! See guys? Totally good! Seriously though, how did we get here? Like, just in the “broadly gestures at everything” sense? Even though it seems like Noah and Doja have come to a truce, Doja’s losing in the court of public opinion. She may have withstood her stints of clapping her cheeks in chat rooms for incels, but you cannot mess with the treasured Stranger Things kids. She’s lost a ton of social media followers, while Noah has seen a large increase.

Doja lost about 200,000 followers on Instagram, according to the Los Angeles Times citing social media analytics company Social Blade (although the report noted her TikTok follower count remained about the same). As for Noah, the publication wrote he gained almost one million Instagram followers and nearly 3 million TikTok followers.

The real winner here? Joseph Quinn. He still hasn’t taken the time to dignify Doja with a response to this. Like his character Eddie Munson, he just keeps avoiding capture. He may even be on the run at this very moment, wearing a frazzled wig and trying his hardest to leap into The Upside-Down right into Vecna’s sinewy embrace; because that would be 100x better than the alternative of being caught in a deranged, one-sided conversation with Doja Cat.
