Kehlani Trended On Twitter After Conservative Influencer Christian Walker Posted A Video Of Their Altercation In A Starbucks Drive-Thru

Don’t call staunch Donald Trump defender, self-proclaimed Christian “conservative-populist,” “free-speech radicalist,” and internet “personality” (emphasis mine) Christian Walker gay, because even though he’s attracted to men, he’s not into labels and refuses to “identify with the rainbow cult.” So yeah, he sounds like an asshole but don’t call him that either, as singer Kehlani did when she warned the workers at a Starbucks drive-thru that Christian was behind them, becoming apoplectic over seeing Pride flags in July. In what was THEE story of the day yesterday, Christian posted a video of himself getting out of his car to berate a spectacularly unbothered Kehlani for warning employees that Christian was a known asshole and that it looked like he was about to start some shit judging by what she could see in their rearview mirror of him plotzing and frothing at the mouth while recording on his phone.

As the only publicly claimed son (until very recently) of Republican Georgia Senate candidate and former NFL player Herschel Walker, Christian’s got an uphill climb to catch up to his daddy’s level of bat-shit ideology and doesn’t even have the excuse of having been pummeled in the head repeatedly for decades or being diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder like his pops. All he has is an iPhone, light eyes, and a chip on his shoulder roughly the same size as his ego. But gosh darn he’s done it. “Daddy, watch me fly!Complex reports:

Kehlani probably didn’t expect to become a trending topic on Twitter Wednesday (July 13) — but based on her reaction, she certainly doesn’t seem bothered by it.

In a video clip posted by Christian Walker, a conservative social media personality and son of Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker, the singer was ordering at a Starbucks drive-thru when she noticed Walker and allegedly called him an “asshole,” and asked the barista to be “safe around him.” Walker proceeded to step out of his vehicle and confront the singer.

“Everyone’s entitled to an opinion — you’re so rude, or you wouldn’t be telling barista workers that I’m an asshole,” he yelled before approaching their car. “Get your drink and go away. I can have an opinion like everybody else. Why are you entitled to an opinion and not me … You’re the asshole. Get your drink and go.”

At first, I was so confused. I thought assholes were like opinions in that everybody’s got one, not that everybody is one. But then I saw the video and clearly, there is only one gaping asshole on display. And it’s not Kehlani(‘s). The second video is what Christian was recording in the car behind Kehlani.

Christian picked a good day to “set her straight,” because Kehlani happened to be on the phone with their therapist when Christian popped off on them. Only because Christian’s post went viral, did Kehlani post a video explaining the situation as she saw it. Complex reports:

“I wasn’t gonna address it, but I think we should tell the truth,” Kehlani began. “… I go to this Starbucks often, and I also know and can visibly see that everybody that works there is of color, and a lot of them—can’t assume these things—but seem queer to me.”

Kehlani said they then went to the window and informed the workers that the “Trump-supporting” kid was behind them and had a habit of attacking the LGBTQ community.

“I’m like, ‘Watch out, because he’s coming up here with his fucking phone ready to record,” they said. “I’m like, ‘He’s a fucking asshole,’ because I’ve just watched him be an asshole for the last 10 minutes.”

“I’m going, ‘I know what you wanna do. You wanna get a reaction out of me so you can go viral,” Kehlani said. “‘and you can post this as some kind of take on people with my political stance, or assumed political stance.”

Kehlani claims Christian didn’t start recording until after he began yelling at her. The singer accused the influencer of referring to them as a “bitch” who was holding up the line. Kehlani said they were on the phone with a therapist at the time, and was coincidentally discussing the issue of misplaced anger.

I think we can rest assured that the future of the conservative party is in good hands. With young leaders like Christian at the fore, confusing opinions with directives, the 2031 Republican presidential debates will just be a town hall-style sex orgy as all of the candidates screech at each other to go fuck themselves.

Here’s Kehlani’s response.

Restraint— thy name is KEHLANI!
