Wendy Williams Admits She Was Not Pleased With The Finale Of Her Former Talk Show
In news that will surprise absolutely no one Wendy Williams, Wendy admitted in a recent interview that she was not pleased with how producers Debmar-Mercury handled the finale of her long-running talk show, The Wendy Williams Show. Wendy has been absent for the majority of 2022 and as producers attempted to bring the show back to its ratings gold fans were left with a mess of inconsistent hosts and a smiling Sherri Shepherd grinning every day while singing “Ding Dong That Bitch Is GONE!” inside her head. But Wendy the whistleblower wants her fans to know how she really feels ahead of her upcoming podcast, and wasted no time calling Debmar-Mercury out for not including her in the finale of her own damn show. And because Wendy is Wendy, she also wasted no time in letting us know that she’s horny and wants to fuck!
During an interview with The New York Post, Wendy was asked if she liked the finale of her talk show and she answered, “There was nothing I liked about the [the final episode of] ‘Wendy Williams Show.” But well, it’s not like Sherri, who guest hosted the final episode, didn’t try to soften the blow. She gave Wendy a touching tribute which was filled with nothing but praise and even Vanessa Williams, who served as the show’s first and last guest, reminded everyone that Wendy may be down but she’s not out just yet. Deadline reports;
“She was real. She is real — she’s still with us — and she’s resilient,” said the actress. “She’s a fighter and she’s real, she was down to earth, she said it like it was. She kept it 100 but she did it with fun. And she was articulate and funny and has all these weird ‘Wendyisms’ that we would grow to love and know. I’m really gonna miss the show and miss her presence. You know she’s unique.”
Unfortunately, all of these sweet nothings fell upon deaf ears as I’m sure Wendy is still ready to take her cup of piping hot tea and throw it into Debmar-Mercury’s two faces. Especially since this is a different narrative than what went on behind the scenes.
When asked by The Post why she failed to make a swan song appearance during the mid-June finale, the cheeky hostess said: “[Debmar-Mercury] didn’t ask me to do that, so I didn’t. I sat in my apartment and I watched it. And [I was] like, ‘Eek!’”
And Williams, without any ill will toward the producers, believes that her exclusion from the show’s closing was a production misstep.
“Debmar-Mercury, in my opinion, should have done it with [me], not these other people on ‘The Wendy Williams Show,’” said the Hollywood Walk of Famer, adding, “Except for Fat Joe.”
It also doesn’t help that all of the WWS social media platforms, including its YouTube channel, have been erased. But “gorgeous” Wendy’s got bigger things to worry about like getting some dick!
“If I don’t do anything else, including podcast, I would love to fall in love. I want to fuck,” Williams told The Post in a Zoom interview, with her manager Will Selby off-camera. “Excuse me, I’m gorgeous. Can I fuck?” she quipped.
But listen, this isn’t the last we’ve seen or heard from Wendy, so everyone get ready for The Rapture when her podcast drops. And no, that’s not the name of the podcast but I think after all of this drama she should consider calling it that.
