An Impromptu Nicki Minaj Meet And Greet In London Was Called Off After It Became Too Chaotic

Of all of the things that Nicki Minaj is known for, making sound decisions isn’t at the top of the list (see: her convicted sex offender/killer husband, Kenneth “Zoo” Petty). So when Nicki announced to her hordes of followers that she was going to hold an “impromptu meet and greet,” it was another of her choices that seemed like it would go over about as well as her trying to have a peace talk with Cardi B at a fully stocked Foot Locker. Unsurprisingly, shit went south. People got out of control, crowds swelled larger than her cousin’s friend’s impotent testicles after a COVID vax, and the event was called off–but not before a fan was able to catch a video of Nicki shoving him and posting (and then deleting) it on TikTok.

Page Six says that Nicki took to Instagram Live to announce that she’d be holding an unplanned meet and greet and to spread the word. While she did tell everyone to wear their masks, she didn’t really give fans any more directives in the way of not acting the fools

The alleged incident happened after the “Starships” rapper — who had performed at the Wireless Festival on Sunday — took to Instagram Live Monday morning to announce she was hosting an impromptu meet-and-greet in Camden Town, London.

Here’s her 3-minute announcement that could have taken just 30 seconds:

Well, clearly the word spread and a mob scene ensued. Barbz chased after Nicki’s vehicle and swarmed her once she got out. Even though she tweeted that people need to calm down, that didn’t work; probably because reading tweets while running is difficult.

Hundreds of people showed up at Cafe Koko, according to The Mirror, and mobbed Minaj when she arrived. She took to Twitter to beg fans to get out of the streets so she could properly meet them as she shared a video of the mobs.

Nicki retweeted footage of that chaos:

Despite using her best awful British accent to tell fans that they “can’t make a scene” once she got out of her car, a scene was made.

So the Camden Police decided that they’d had enough of this mess and shut it down.

But, not before she shoved a fan who didn’t heed her warning to back up!

In a TikTok video captured by user theyluviish, a mob of people could be seen surrounding the rapper, 39, who begged them to “back up.”
Ignoring her pleas and wanting to take advantage of her proximity, he appeared to lean back against her to take a video.
As he threw up a peace sign and pursed his lips, Minaj could be seen telling him to “back up” before he was seemingly shoved out of the way.
“Nicki Minaj literally pushed me omg 😂,” the fan claimed in the TikTok, adding, “My fave literally touched me 😂😍.”

The fan further claimed in the comment section of his video that he was “just happy Nicki touched” him. “Thank you Nicki for stopping by,” he concluded.

And here’s the shove that’s since been deleted from TikTok, but has been immortalized on Twitter:

Lucky for Nicki, it seemed like this was his Moment 4 Life and he’s giving strong “one time, Regina George punched me in the face; it was awesome” energy, so at least she won’t have another harassment or assault case on her hands, because she’s already neck-deep in those. At least she’s consistent; once again asserting that bigger isn’t always better. Still waiting for an update on those COVID balls.
