Hilaria Baldwin Shared Some Of The Hateful Comments She Receives On Instagram

Hilaria Baldwin already holds several titles: “most pregnant pregnant-woman to ever pregnant.” “The Spanish-est Massachusetts native to ever utter ‘coo-cahm-bear.’” “Star of the wokest and definitely most candid gender reveal video of all time.” Next on her agenda: “champion of protecting bullied women everywhere who somehow don’t realize that they can just stop posting or accepting new followers on social media any time they want.” Hilaria, wife of actor Alec Baldwin and mom of six with a seventh on the way, posted a video on Wednesday where she talked about her personal struggle with trolls and how it’s affected her, shared some of the types of hateful comments she receives, and says she wants to help others suffering the same plight.

In the video’s caption, she talks about doing research on why women treat other women this way, since soooo many of her followers are experiencing this, and that bullies are becoming “radicalized” online. via Yahoo! Entertainment:

In a message she wrote alongside the video, Baldwin added, “I share with you here some abusive comments I get because I’ve learned that so many of you are suffering in silence from this kind of harassment. These people often get radicalized in online hate forums. May my example make you know that you are not alone and you are always allowed a seat at the table.”

Hilaria then starts the video by saying that she’s going to share some of the comments she gets and wants others to know that they aren’t alone. What demographic is she going for here? Celebrity wives with almost a million followers and a gaggle of children who share every waking moment of their lives in their Instagram Stories? Seems very niche, but go off, Hilary.

“These comments used to make me want to kill myself because you feel misunderstood,” she said in the video. “They say the most ridiculous, outlandish, untrue things in the world. And you start to feel like you have to justify yourself, in this world of information, where people can twist things and turn things and splice them. You feel that you constantly need to give an explanation. And one of the things that I’ve learned after being so torn apart so many times is that you don’t have to, and that you are fine just as you are, and you don’t owe anything to anybody. Just be kind, be good.”

She goes on to say that this all started as soon as she started dating Alec, at the height of 30 Rock. She was just some young, gold-digging leech hanging on to a famous actor. But now that Alec is old, tired, covered in babies, and his latest body of work didn’t go so well, it’s Hilary…Hilaria’s time to shine! So fuck the haters, she loves herself and is ready to help her fawning followers do the same. Or something like that.

“For them, I was some young bimbo who was marrying up in the world, marrying somebody who was older, and the only thing could be that I was a whore who is focused on money and power and fame and all that kind of garbage,” she said. “And the issue is that now it has become mainstream [to be like this] to women. And we can all secretly look at information on our phones, and people who call themselves reporters and work for reputable places are using their power for evil and tearing apart other people, especially women, and doing it in ways that is so barbaric and so something of the past and so anti moving forward for equality.”

Here’s the video, featuring Hilaria almost letting those tears slip. Sally Struthers, take a seat.

A few months ago Hilaria said she was going to take a break from social media, but that lasted a shorter amount of time than one “Alec Baldwin assaulting a paparazzi with homophobic/racist slurs on a New York street” minute. I don’t think anyone disagrees that bullying is wrong and has detrimental effects, but has she delivered a video to Alec about his word choices? You know what they say: “if you want to change the world, go to la casa and love la familia.”
