Meghan Markle Is Reportedly Disappointed That The Palace Didn’t Release The Results Of Their Bullying Investigation, But Believes Her Name Has Been Cleared

Last month, it was reported that the results of Meghan Markle’s bullying investigation probably weren’t going to see the light of day. Truly a day that would live in infamy.  The report was from Buckingham Palace’s investigation into the allegations that Meghan bullied palace staff when she was still a senior royal. That investigation came and went, and no one heard anything about the results, because the Palace didn’t want them to be seen. Meghan hasn’t said anything about the results of that investigation, but sources have spilled how she might feel about the whole situation, and generally, she’s a-ok with the Palace acting so sketchy about the results.

A royal source had previously claimed that Queen Elizabeth didn’t want to release the results of Meghan’s bullying investigation because she didn’t want to create any more “drama” around the situation. You can go ahead and file that choice under another example of The Barbra Streisand Effect because even more attention and drama was drawn to the investigation by hiding the results. But “sources” are now talking. Some sources claim that the Palace’s decision to bury the report was an “olive branch” to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.  Another source tells Us Weekly that Meghan believes the Palace’s choice not to blast those investigation results all over the internet is all the proof anyone needs to know that she wasn’t as evil as was previously reported.

“Meghan is a fair boss and never bullied anyone who worked for her at the Palace in the first place. She’s happy that her name has been cleared from the defamatory claims,” a source exclusively tells Us Weekly about the Suits alum’s reaction to her apparent win. “She and Harry are looking forward to putting the incident behind them and are happily moving on with their lives in Montecito.”

Still, it sounds like if Meghan had her way, she’d rather people know with absolute certainty that she wasn’t the boss from HELL, rather than just for people to believe the implication that she was a decent boss. via E! News:

A source close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tells E! News exclusively that the couple is “disappointed” that the results of the review of the investigation will not be shared.

Yet another source said much of the same to Us Weekly, saying that both Meghan and Harry wished the results had been shared publicly. Well, it may be only a matter of time before the report gets “leaked.” And I’m not saying that Prince Andrew will be the one to leak it when he needs the media to get off his back, but I am saying that I am grossed out by typing the words “Prince Andrew” and “leak” in the same sentence.
