Convicted Crooks Todd And Julie Chrisley Are Asking For Prayers

America’s angels Todd and Julie Chrisley are in big trouble with the feds. A few years ago, they were charged with a slew of financial crimes and after a long investigation and three-week trial, they were found GUILTY! The couple has communicated to their legions of fans that they’re disappointed with this INJUSTICE, but they’ll fight this until the very end. The only thing they need is God’s grace and a time machine to stop them from committing those crimes!

The Chrisley Knows Best and Growing Up Chrisley “stars” have been going through it with the IRS since 2019 when they were slapped with 12 counts of financial misdoings in Georgia. It’s been a long time coming with some of the charges going back as far as 2007. Gotta fund those daily filler and Botox appointments somehow! They were eventually cleared of state tax evasion charges but couldn’t shake the federal ones. Since then, Todd and Julie have been battling the case in between attempts of allegedly extorting their daughter with a sex tape and quashing an affair between Todd and his former business partner. These two are quite the multitaskers! Unfortunately for them, the US government looked past their smiling veneers and decided to declare them guilty of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, conspiracy to defraud the United States, and tax fraud. They face up to 30 years in the slammer.

In response to the verdict, a bunch of fans have supposedly been leaving various gifts and presents at the Chrisley house. I guess stan culture can apply to anything nowadays… While appreciative of the gestures, Todd has requested his fans to quit leaving him Kirkland Signature gift baskets! via People:

Todd Chrisley is asking fans to stop leaving presents on his doorstep after he and wife Julie Chrisley were found guilty of tax evasion and bank fraud earlier this month.

On Friday’s episode of his Chrisley Confessions, he told listeners, “We try to address, each week, as much as we’re allowed to address” about his and Julie’s recent federal convictions.

“I want you all to know that the messages that we’re receiving, the mail that we’re receiving, the gifts that people are leaving at our doors — you know, the flower arrangements. All this stuff is just overwhelming,” he said.

Oh, so Todd is too good for “Bless This Mess” plaques from Homegoods, is he? Either that or he’s afraid that the feds will consider Edible Arrangements fruit baskets as a form of income! In place of Wayfair gift cards, Todd and Julie are asking for prayers.

Instead, Todd asked fans to turn to God and ask for support. “Really, the best gift that you can give us is prayer. Our family, we’re all doing as well as can be as expected during this and this storm that we’re going through.”

On their strength, Todd added that they’ll “continue to hold our head up and move forward. That’s kind of where we are with things right now.”

If there’s one guy who can get them out of this funk, it’s the big man himself. However, I THINK he might be busy dealing with other global issues and may not be too keen on helping some people who very clearly defrauded the government. I’m no theologian, but I think Jesus is pretty clear about his stance on stealing. And for a guy who professes to love the Bible, Todd doesn’t appear to fully understand it. I believe the Biblical phrase, “give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and give to God what belongs to God” doesn’t translate to “Give to Chrisley what doesn’t belong to Chrisley and give some money, too, while you’re at it!”
