Open Post: Hosted By Taco Bell’s Giant Cheez-It Menu Items
Taco Bell is always cranking out ideas or shaking things up to get their loyal subjects hyped. Recently, it was the reversal of the highly-contested removal of the Mexican Pizza from the menu, ushered in by Doja Cat with an obnoxious jingle (though Saint Dolly Parton let everyone know she was Team Mexican Pizza first). Other masterful moves included making Lil’ Nas X their “Chief Impact Officer” and opening their own Tac-Ho-tel. America: hold on to your butts; butts: hold on to your holes; toilets: hold on to your hats (…lids), because Redditors recently discovered two new menu items that Taco Bell is experimenting with at one of its Irvine, California locations, and they both include enormous Cheez-Its.
Even though there’s one diehard fan of the discontinued Grilled Stuft Nacho out there who vowed to suffer the great plight of exercising every single day until Taco Bell puts it back on the menu, the Taco Bell test kitchen team, who I assume is high as fuck at all times, said “sorry; best we can do is Giant Cheez-It Tostadas and Crunch Wraps.” If you’ve ever ravaged a Doritos Locos Taco, you know that Taco Bell is no stranger to snack food tie-ins. The Takeout says that Redditors recently brought the potential new Cheez-It menu items to light, and people seem to be virtually wetting themselves over it.
The Reddit thread shows a screenshot of its menu through the app, at a location in Irvine, California (2222 Barranca Parkway, to be specific), the city where Taco Bell is headquartered. And the test items include an ingredient that’s both funny and interesting: a giant Cheez-It.
The Cheez-It is employed in two items, a tostada and a Crunchwrap (!!!). The tostada is topped with seasoned ground beef, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, and shredded cheese. The Crunchwrap looks like a typical version, except the inner tostada element is replaced with the giant Cheez-It. Holy crap, guys.

Taco Bell hasn’t commented on the new items, so no one knows if Taco Bell x Cheez-It will appear at other locations in the future. I don’t know about these; that tostada especially would be crumbly as hell and if I’m gonna go big at the ‘Bell, I expect to be eating it in my bed or on the floor, The Hoff-style. But, considering the state many people are in when they indulge in Taco Bell, a Cheez-It explosion mess might not be a big deal. We should all just be grateful if our orders make it to us sans doorknob.
