Johnny Knoxville Has Filed For Divorce From His Wife Of Twelve Years Naomi Nelson

Johnny Knoxville has said that he’s done with doing crazy dangerous shit so Jackass Forever and Jackass 4.5, which were released in February and May, will be your last chance to see him endanger his life and get brain damage. Luckily there are still tons of people online who will lick toilets, play with plugs, or any other number of insanely stupid shit that will make you go: “…Why?” But if Johnny thinks he’s done with dangerous activities, he clearly isn’t aware that divorce is a full-contact sport, because he’s filed for divorce from his second wife, Naomi Nelson, after twelve years of marriage.

Johnny–whose legal name is Philip John Clapp–and Naomi got married way in September 2010 and have two children: 12-year-old son Rocko and 10-year-old daughter Arlo. And TMZ says that Johnny filed for divorce in L.A. this week:

The Jackass star filed docs, obtained by TMZ, Thursday in Los Angeles. According to Johnny, he and Naomi have been separated since September 2021…

Johnny’s asking for joint legal and physical custody of the kids, and lists irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.

Of course, Johnny and the Jackass crew are coming off the huge success of Jackass 4.5 … he says in the divorce docs he believes he’s got separate property from Naomi, but it’ll be figured out later.

In a move that is either extremely poetic or tragic–or maybe both–People says that court documents state that the couple lists the date of their separation as September 24, 2021., which was their eleventh wedding anniversary. Yikes… the eleventh wedding anniversary gift is supposed to be something steel to show the strong bond. Officially splitting up on their wedding anniversary seems messy, but hopefully, this divorce won’t be a train wreck for them. But then again, even if it reached Brangelina-levels of disastrous, Johnny can still shrug and say, “This is nothing, I’ve gone through ‘paper cuts between the toes’ torture before.”
