The Mysterious Wolf Creature of Amarillo!

A mysterious horror movie-like creature was spotted on a security camera in Texas, and usually, that’d make anyone so, “Oh, it was just Ted Cruz going for a little late-night hunt for virgins to eat the souls of.” But please, Ted Cruz, wishes he had it like that wolf trick. As you may have already seen, the internet pulled out its magnifying glasses after the City of Amarillo posted a screenshot from a security camera of a strange, hairy wolf-like man sashaying across a fence outside of The Amarillo Zoo at 1:25 in the morning. Maybe that’s a popular cruising spot for wolfmen and he was just out looking for some quick wolf dick, and now his image is everywhere! Just let him live!

NBCDFW says that the footage was taken on May 21, which was a Saturday, and that The City of Amarillo tweeted a shot of the mystery creature to ask the public what they think it is? Is it a drunk mess in a bootleg Teen Wolf costume stumbling back from a costume party? Is it a dude in a wolf headdress making a really early pilgrimage to Burning Man? Is it some kind of chupacabra with human legs? Is it Ugly Sonic and this is just some kind of marketing stunt for that Chip ‘N Dale movie?

The City of Amarillo says that they haven’t gotten any “solid leads” (HA!) yet. And the director of Parks and Rec for Amarillo tells Newsweek how they discovered this mystery:

Michael Kashuba, Parks and Recreation director for the City of Amarillo, told Newsweek that the zoo has strategic cameras in place. This particular footage was discovered when staffers conducted a casual review of surveillance video, which led to a discussion about who or what was contained in the image.

“It’s kind of an anomaly, a unique picture,” he said.

Whoever or whatever was in the black-and-white footage never gained entry inside the zoo, Kashuba said, or caused any damage to zoo fencing or animals.

Meanwhile, some furry in Amarillo is probably hanging their head like, “Great, now the entire world has seen my walk of shame.
