Tori Spelling And Dean McDermott Might Be Trying Out A Trial Separation

It’s been no secret that Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott’s marriage has hit a patch rougher than the end of the month when all of Tori’s credit card bills come due. Tori may still be technically married to the beady-eyed cross-border pride of Canada, but appearances featuring the two of them together are few and far between. And according to Us Weekly’s sources, the reason Tori and Dean haven’t committed one way or the other on their marriage is that they are currently committed to being separated from each other.

It’s been eight months since Tori was seen holding divorce-looking papers outside of a lawyer’s office, and many (including myself) believed that was the final straw in Tori and Dean’s messy marriage. But there’s been no divorce announcement, no lawyers, no pictures of Dean zipping around town on a new mid-life crisis motorcycle wearing a t-shirt that says, “If you can read this, then it means there’s still a vacancy on the back of my bike. Hot babes with low standards apply today!“. Although, sources say that they’re not really together anymore. via UsWeekly:

According to the source, the last update their friends were given was the couple are “going through with a trial separation.”

A second source tells Us that a divorce has “been put on pause” as their relationship is a “roller-coaster.”

Well, it might be tough for Tori’s friends to figure out if she has plans to upgrade that separation from “trial” to “permanent,” because according to UsWeekly’s first source, nobody can really get in contact with her.

“Tori’s friends are worried because they never hear from her anymore,” the insider tells Us. “They try to reach her and hear no word back. And she hasn’t been doing social things anymore. She seems to be isolating herself. She’s been so MIA that they’re worried something’s going on – if she’s having money troubles again or is depressed. They just aren’t getting together in friends groups like they did before.”

To be fair, Tori Spelling has five children. That doesn’t leave a ton of time for gal’s night drinks and apps at TGI Fridays. Not to mention that the rest of her free minutes are spent promoting shit on social media and doing her own For Your Consideration work. Although the speculation that Tori’s alleged self-imposed absence might be caused by money worries isn’t that much of a stretch. According to another source, the thought of dropping a bunch of cash on a divorce has both Tori and Dean sweating.

“They know divorce will be expensive and it’s not something they’re willing to go through right now. They both feel trapped,” the second insider says. “Having kids makes it more difficult because they don’t want their children to be unhappy, yet at the same time, Tori has been unhappy for quite a while now. They truly are still together for their kids.”

We’ve heard this many times before. And truly, trapping yourself with the spouse you can barely tolerate for the sake of the kids feels like chapter one in a book titled: Reasons Why Your Kids Will Need Therapy In The Future. But as that second source noted, divorce isn’t cheap, and Tori and Dean aren’t exactly the most financially stable couple in the world. I mean, unless someone invents a $9.99 drive-thru divorce, The Deaner’s casual Christmas Day pop-ins might become an annual tradition.

Although there might be a silver lining in those sources blabbing about Tori’s current situation. Tori’s creditors probably read UsWeekly’s headline, got super bummed out, and immediately started pooling donations for her. Because they really don’t want to have to deal with the inevitable bounced check during the first minute of a 30-minute divorce consultation.
