Open Post: Hosted By Scott Speedman Saying That Drinking Water Is The Key To His Youthful Beauty

Scott Speedman, the hunky Felicity Scott who didn’t marry Jennifer Garner, co-stars in David Cronenberg’s latest body-horror flick, Crimes of the Future. At last Thursday’s New York premiere, Page Six asked Scott how he manages to keep his youthful looks at age 46. He revealed that the key to his youthful good looks is… drinking the blood of WB has-beens. Matt from 7th Heaven, that one blonde jock from Popular, and both boys from Jack & Bobby. PSYCH. It’s actually water. Scott drinks a lot of water.

Page Six “half-seriously asked” Scott if he has a portrait of himself “rotting away in the attic,” Dorian Gray-stylez. This was his answer:

“I’m on the Tom Brady diet, a lot of water,” the 46-year-old told us at the New York premiere of “Crimes of the Future” on Thursday night, before insisting that he had aged. “If you look at pictures of me even five years ago, I’ve aged.”

A few years ago Tom Brady shared that he drinks a minimum of 112 ounces of water a day. That’s about 14 eight-ounce glasses. On more active days, Tom will drink up to 37 glasses of water. Damn. They say that about 60% of an adult man’s body is made up of water, but for Tom and Scott, it must be about 99%. They’re just one Aquafina away from melting into a puddle like the mutant-hating senator in the first X-Men movie:

I’m actually a huge fan of water and probably drink up to 10-15 glasses a day. But it’s not because of my health; it’s because, in my opinion, soda is fucking gross. What is the appeal of carbonation?! The bubbles fight their way down your throat and then you get all burpy? No thanks. I’ll stay youthful and bubble-free with my man Scott Speedman!
