Tori Spelling Would Love To Be In “Scream 6”
Tori Spelling may be going after a gig! And honestly, she should be the way her American Express bills are piling up. While doing some promo for her podcast, 9021OMG, on iHeartRadio, Tori ended up talking about the Scream series which actually featured Tori back in the day. It was a joke in the first film that Neve Campbell‘s character Sidney Prescott suggested that she would be played by Tori Spelling in the movie about her murderous boyfriend. In the sequel, Tori did just that–playing Sidney in the movie-within-a-movie, Stab. Well, Scream 6 is coming out next year and Tori says she would be totally down to come back to the franchise. I’m sure AmEx is already checking her accounts to see when they can seize more money from her.
Scream isn’t only the thing that accountants do when they look at Tori’s bills and spending habits–it’s also the name of a movie franchise that Tori was briefly semi a part of. Here’s Tori’s appearance from Scream 2:
Scream loves to bring cast members back into the franchise, as Courtney Cox and Neve have been staples of the series alongside David Arquette for years. Neve will reportedly not be back for Scream 6. Neither is David. But Courtney is coming back for Scream 6 and said last month that the script is amazing. Hayden Panettiere will also make a return to the franchise in Scream 6. The rest of the cast will include Jenna Ortega, Melissa Barrera, Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Dermot Mulroney. That’s a lot of people, hopefully, there’s still enough cash leftover for Tori, but I think her rate is pretty affordable. via The Blast:
After the box office success of the latest Scream film, it appears many stars wanted to return to the town of Woodsboro for more satirical horror goodness, and the fictional town in California must be near Beverly Hills, as it looks like a 90210 alum is looking to get herself in the upcoming sixth installment in the franchise.While promoting her new podcast, 9021OMG on iHeartRadio, Tori Spelling told The Blast EXCLUSIVELY if she wanted to be in the upcoming Scream 6.
When The Blast asked Spelling on if she would be returning to the next film at the iHeartRadio Wango Tango concert on June 4th, she smiled and instantly mentioned EXCLUSIVELY, “I hope so,” but when we pressed her on if she would actually want to do it, she emphatically stated, “Of course.”
I do genuinely hope this works out for Tori. If she books a Scream movie she might be able to finally afford that divorce that she and her husband Dean McDermott are allegedly too broke for. Unless AmEx gets to the money first–it’s really first-come-first-served when it comes to Tori’s bank account.
