Jennifer Lopez And Ben Affleck Might Have Bought A Gigantic Estate

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck continue their crusade to make sure that we all know their relationship isn’t just a repeat disaster-collab like that of their first engagement or Gigli; it’s a true love (for now) blockbuster. Jen has recently said she’s ready for her next (4th) wedding, and they’ve been looking for a quaint, little marital home. If we weren’t currently celebrating Pride Month, we all could easily get disoriented thinking that it’s Groundhog’s Day, because they’ve been allegedly trying and failing at this house hunt for months now. But now there’s speculation that they’ve finally found “the one.”

TMZ says that yesterday, Jennifer’s car and moving trucks were spotted outside of a gargantuan Beverly Hills estate. At the same time, there were also moving trucks at both Jen’s and Ben’s current L.A. area homes (who is in charge of checking on all of this?). While the transaction is so far unconfirmed, that’s a decent amount of evidence that Bennifer 2.0 may have FINALLY found their love nest, so maybe we can all slide back off the edge of our seats and stop losing sleep over these poor, impassioned souls finding their castle. Ah, to be so in love that you want to settle down together in a home so enormous that you’ll never have to see each other’s stupid faces again. Swoon.

The maybe-theirs-now home is owned by billionaire James Packer, messy former fiance of Mariah Carey, and he bought it from Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman years ago for $60 million. The house hasn’t been on the market or even shown off-market recently, so Jen and Ben may have had the right connections to just swoop in on this one. In the current L.A. real estate market, this house will most likely go above and beyond $60 million if the sale is actually a go and not just speculation. This would be on-budget for the couple who’ve recently toyed with but failed at buying other houses that were $50 million, $85 million, and $165 million–this one is the opulently tacky Spelling Manor. If there are any realtors involved in Bennifer’s purchase, I would venture to guess that Emma Hernan from Selling Sunset is not one of them. You can see the outside of the house here:

Since there is no listing for this property, I can’t peek at what amenities it includes on the inside, but it’s huge and surely has all of your run-of-the-mill fancy rich people’s things like temperature-controlled fur coat closets and toilets that gently massage your b-hole while softly playing songs by Andrea Boccelli. However, if this is the absolute perfect place for both of them, I’d assume that it would also have to include a fully functioning, 24-hour Dunks and on-site back tattoo touch-up artist for Ben. Jen would obviously need an olive oil distillery somewhere on the grounds to pump out the shit she slathers all over her face since she emphatically insists that it’s her simple anti-aging secret and definitely, definitely not botox, guys.
